Sales Associate – CtrlP Status: Support Staff

Pay Range: $10.25 - $14.00/hr.

Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) provides excellent customer service at the Ctrl P print shop. Further, the CSR reports to the Controller, while being directly supervised by the CtrlP Store Supervisor. Job Duties Customer Service

 Provide fast, accurate, and professional printing services such as binding, faxing, printing, copying, plotting, etc., to customers  Correct minor problems to student’s files and make suggestions to enhance product delivery  Instruct students on how to use the self-serve photocopy equipment  Respond to customers’ requests and complaints  Offer new and repeat customers efficient service  Completes orders from internal staff and Student Executives  Inform customers about promotions and sales Operational Duties

     

Assist with basic graphic updates to documents created by graphic designer Assist with annual inventory and maintain inventory systems Order and receive appropriate stock for operational needs Perform closing and opening procedures Answer phone calls and take messages Maintain a secure facility

Financial Management

 Assist with processing bank deposits as per policy  Carry out sales transactions through preferred method of payment (i.e. cash, BCIT Student ID card, debit, credit card)  Balance cash and float everyday and record overages and shortages  Exchange money from bills to coin

Equipment Management

 Assist with the management of all aspects of the photocopier fleet on campus such as filling the machine with paper and cleaning  Submit requests for maintenance repairs for departmental equipment  Conduct minor maintenance for copiers, plotter, One Card machines, and change machines  Assist with month end copier reads Other Related Duties

 Support Student Executives and staff members for their respective initiatives Supplementary Information

 Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite  Basic knowledge of In-Design and Photoshop helpful  May require physical demands such as lifting 30 pounds regularly Education and Experience (Minimum Requirement)

 High school Diploma  Three months experience
