The Chair person, Amy Erskine, calls meeting to order at 2:30 pm 7.2 Guest Speakers ďƒ˜ The guest speakers Marwan Marwan and Victor The guest speakers Marwan and Victor invited Set Rep to vote for them at the Student Executive Elections 2012. Set Rep were motivated by the fact that Marwan and Victor will represent the interests of all different schools.

 What positions are you applying for? Marwan- VP student Affairs; Victor- VP Campus Life.

7.3 Old Business  Application deadline for a Distinguished Representative Award for the School of Energy is next Friday, April 27th, 2012. Nominees may be nominated by Faculty, fellow students or fellow Reps. A minimum one Letter of Recommendation must be submitted along with the Nomination Form. Set Reps should be present at all Set Rep meetings, been actively involved in the discussions, be in good academic standings and etc.  Heat Problem in SW9 122- still exists. Amy will investigate.  SW3-1985- situation didn’t change. Not enough chairs for all the students. Amy will investigate.  Any news about Residence BBQ? - No.  Print cards: It was proposed to process online. The BCITSA will look into it.

7.4 New Business  Election Candidates School of Energy has two students, who have applied for the position of the Chair of the School of Energy. The Candidates represented themselves to the Set Rep and described the basic goals of their Campaign. Set Rep were encouraged to participate in the Election Process by voting.  Recommendation Letters Amy prepared Recommendation Letters for the School of Energy Set Rep who are eligible to be nominated for the Distinguished Representative Award.  MESS event Denis, the President of MESS club, invited Set Rep to take part in the Game, Burger & Beverage event which will take place at Browns SocialHouse on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Limited tickets are available for Purchase before Aril 27, 2012 @ 2pm. Please contact pres.mess@gmail.com for tickets and more details.

ďƒ˜ Can BCIT extend the massage office hours or make it another day of the week. The current office hours don’t suit with our schedule. Amy will investigate.

7.6 Next Meeting The committee is dissolved for the summer break. The School of Energy Set Representative Committee will reconvene in September.
