BACK TO BACK Nacida en Barcelona en el 86, Chui Kanela creció empapándose de la música, colores y ritmos de la década dorada de los hits de los 90. Desde los 6 años empezó a subirse a escenarios,

tocando en recitales de piano y cantando como solista en la coral de la escuela. La música y el arte han sido su verdadera pasión desde que tiene uso de razón.

Bcn events: ¿Quién es Both Face? BF: Somos Oriol y Marc-Albert, dos hermanos productores, compositores y Dj’s. Oriol: Soy pianista y desde muy pequeño he sentido la necesidad de expresarme a través de la música. Así que desde bien pequeño empecé a componer e interpretar mis primeras canciones. Marc-Albert: Aunque he tocado de muy pequeño el piano, mi vocación siempre ha sido la parte rítmica y el mundo del sonido, es decir la parte técnica. Esto es una gran ventaja ya que nos complementamos trabajando. Bcn events: ¿Cómo empezasteis en este mundillo?

BF: Desde la infancia nos hemos criado en un ambiente musicalmente muy rico, ya que nuestros padres han sido músicos y desde muy pequeños nos han hecho participes tanto de sus composiciones como de sus variados gustos musicales. Desde entonces siempre hemos tenido claro cuál sería nuestro camino. Bcn events: ¿Cuál es el origen de vuestro nombre? BF: Desde un primer momento tuvimos claro que nuestra imagen tenía que reflejar una dualidad: somos dos hermanos con la forma de trabajar conjunta antes mencionada. Bcn events: ¿Que DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) utilizáis? BF: Ableton Live

express myself through music. So, from a very little age I started to compose and interpret my first songs. Marc-Albert: Although I played the piano very small, my vocation

has always been the rhythm part and the world of sound, what is, the technical part. This is a great advantage as far as we complement each other when working.

BF: Nuestros estilos principales son el Hip Hop y el Trap , pero no nos cerramos y nos gusta jugar con sonidos nuevos, lo que nos lleva a hacer producciones con un sonido más electrónico. Es decir, nos gusta innovar y probar cosas nuevas. Bcn events: Tengo entendido que habéis trabajado con artistas de renombre.

BF: Si, estos últimos dos o tres años hemos trabajado con Tote King, Rayden, Duddi Wallace, Ikki, The Zombie Kids, MKU (Mbaka y Kunta K), entre otros. Nos llena mucho recordar que hace unos años escuchábamos algunos de estos artistas y vernos trabajar ahora con ellos es indescriptible. Bcn events: ¿Qué creéis que os diferencia del resto de productores? BF: Versatilidad, dedicación, armonía. Nos gusta mezclar la contundencia pero sin perder la parte melódica. Bcn events: ¿Cuál es vuestra meta?

Bcn events: How did you start in this world? BF: Since the childhood we have been raised in a musically rich environment, as to our parents were musicians and since we were very young, they have made us participate in both their compositions and their varied musical tastes. Since then we have always been clear about our path. Bcn events: What is the origin of your name? BF: From the outset we were sure that our image had to reflect a duality: we are two brothers with the aforementioned joint work. Bcn events: What DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) do you use? Naciste en Rusia, pero llevas 8 años en España. ¿Por qué decidiste venir aquí? En realidad nací en Ucrania de donde es mi madre, que por aquellos tiempos formaba parte de la URSS, pero cuando era pequeña, a mi padre al ser militar le mandaron hacer el servicio a Moscu y es alli donde creci hasta que me mude a Madrid. Ademas, había tenido contactos previos con España y con el idioma y por ello decidí seguir con mi formación académica e interpretativa en Madrid. Participé como vocalista en un grupo de pop ruso que seguía mucho la línea de Spice Girls. La verdad es que el grupo tenia bastante éxito y nos movíamos bastante haciendo giras y conciertos por todo el país. Fue una experiencia muy bonita y gratificante y guardo muy buenos recuerdos de aquella época. Ahora mismo estas ejerciendo el papel de camarera en uno de los dating realities mas famosos de este pais. Como llegaste a entrar en el

А если серьезно, то после окончания школы актерского мастерства, различных мастерклассов, обучения в студии эстрадно-джазового вокала, и до того как попасть на ТВ, я уже успела сняться в различных фильмах, рекламных роликах, но как и многие актеры не переставала (и не перестаю) ходить на кастинги, и в один прекрасный момент мне позвонили с ТВ! На программе вы помогаете другим людям обрести любовь. А как у тебя с этим обстоят дела?

Действительно, помимо того, что на программе я и мои коллеги выступаем в роли Купидона, мы так же работаем журналистамипсихологами, поем, танцуем… Для меня это некий опыт на все 360 градусов. Поделись своими планами на будущее, тебе хотелось бы следовать карьере на ТВ или поменять сферу? Признаюсь, что главной моей страстью было и остается кино, но я так же открыта к любому роду предложений в творческой сфере будь то музыка, театр или ТВ. И да, в настоящее время я работаю над одним интересным проектом, все подробности о котором я расскажу вам немного позже ☺

(Se rie) Hablando en serio, después de obtener la formación interpretativa y musical, me he dado tiempo hacer varias películas, cortometrajes, anuncios de publicidad en España pero al igual que muchos actores, no he dejado ni dejo de acudir a los castings y es así como entré a First Dates. En el programa les ayudais a otras personas encotrar el amor. Y tu que tal vas con eso? Tu corazon esta ocupado? SITGES FESTIVAL 2017 Desde que los hermanos Lumière hicieran la primera proyección con público de la historia en Francia en el año 1895, han ocurrido innumerables sucesos destacables en la trayectoria cinematográfica mundial, festivales, eventos, galas, actores, directores, nacimiento de nuevos géneros… sin duda el más relevante que tenemos en nuestra casa, se hace en Sitges localidad costanera que está situada muy cerca de Barcelona : El festival internacional de cinema fantastic de Catalunya. Conocido por en todo el mundo como el festival de Sitges. Y que es la manifestación cultural con más impacto mediático que se realiza en Catalunya. Este año celebró su 50 aniversario por todo lo alto, como no podía ser de otra manera, cabe destacar que fue el primer festival fantástico que se creó y está totalmente consolidado como la gran cita de este género. Del 5 al 17 de Octubre más de 200.000 visitantes, pudimos disfrutar de cortometrajes, largometrajes, series, actividades paralelas, premios y otras sorpresas sobretodo en el emblemático Auditori Melià de Sitges, pero también en otras ubicaciones, clara muestra sobre el auge del evento, que ha contado con un 10% más de visitantes respecto a la última edición. Esta temporada el padrino fue Guillermo del Toro, que hizo el discurso inicial y proyectó su nueva creación: “La forma del agua”, que venía de ganar el León de Oro en Venecia y acumuló muy buenas críticas, ese mismo día 5 de Octubre estrellas como William Friedkin, Dario Argento, Ryoo Seung-Wan, Yoshihiro Nishimura, Santiago Segura o Carmen Machi fueron pro-

tagonistas de la jornada inaugural. Tanto el director Ángel Sala, como los organizadores se muestran eufóricos por el gran momento de este tipo de cine, así como la progresión en este medio siglo de vida del Festival, que es reunión obligada para los amantes del cine y en especial para los fieles seguidores del cine fantástico. En esta edición la gran triunfadora ha sido Jupiter’s Moon de Kornél Mundruczó que se llevó el premio a la mejor película, la mejor dirección fue para Coralie Fargeat, por Revenge, la mejor interpretación femenina cayó en las manos de Marsha Timothy, por Marlina The Murderer In Four Acts, por lo que respecta a la mejor interpretación masculina, Rafe Spall, por su trabajo en The Ritual, se llevó el gato al agua, mientras que la superestrella de Hollywood, Susan Sarandon recogió un más que merecido premio honorifico y finalmente la actriz y directora barcelonesa Leticia Dolera se llevó a casa el premio Bacardí Sitges al espíritu indomable. El cine, como la vida es un carrusel que nunca se detiene, tanto es así que la edición del próximo año ya empieza a preparase, estará dedicada en buena parte a la peli 2001: una odisea del espacio. Son ya 50 años de la que para muchos es la mejor película de la historia y la más influyente de la ciencia ficción contemporánea. Aunque por supuesto se proyectarán muchas otras producciones, podremos ver a otras estrellas y vivir nuevas sorpresas. ¡¡¡Recuerda que la vida puede ser maravillosa!!!

Since the Lumière brothers made the first public screening of history in France in 1895, countless remarkable events have taken place in the cinematographic industry, festivals, events, galas, actors, directors, birth of new genres. With any doubt the most relevant than we have in our house, is made in Sitges coastal town that is located very close to Barcelona: The international festival of Catalunya´s fantastic cinema. Known around the world as the Sitges festival that is the cultural manifestation with more media impact that is realized in Catalonia. This year celebrated its 50th anniversary in a very special way as it could not be otherwise. It should be marked that it was the first fantastic festival that was created and is fully consolidated as the great event of this genre. MECHAS Durante los últimos años han aparecido muchísimas tendencias en mechas, cada una de ellas con nombres diferentes lo que puede hacer que nos confundamos un poco a la hora de decidirnos por alguna de ellas, pero para que esto no nos pase veamos las características de cada una: Californianas: El cabello está más claro de medios a puntas y más oscuro de medios a la raíz. Hay que tener cuidado puesto que si no están bien hechas se ve una línea muy poco deseada. Ombré: Ombré significa sombra en francés, estas mechas son parecidas a la californiana pero no va desde la mitad de la melena hasta la punta sino desde mitad del mechón hasta la punta.

Balayage: Es una técnica muy natural, es parecida a la ombré con la diferencia de que algunos mechones llegan a la raíz y la zona más clara siempre queda alrededor del rostro. Babylight: Estas mechas son como las tradicionales pero con menos contraste en cuanto al color. Se pueden hacer desde la raíz, a 4 dedos de la raíz, de medios a puntas… Melt hair: La palabra “melt” quiere decir que el color se derrite. El resultado de estas mechas es como si te hubieras puesto un chocolate en la cabeza y se hubiera derretido, quedando más oscuro en la raíz y más claro en las puntas.

During the last years many tendencies in wicks have appeared, each of them with different names which can make us confuse a little when making a decision of some of them, but in order to avoid it we will see the characteristics of each one: Californians: Hair is lighter from medium to sharp and darker from medium to root. You have to be careful because if they are not well done you can see a very unwanted line. Ombré: Ombré means shade in French, these strands are similar to the Californians but it does not go from the middle of the mane to the point but from the middle of the tuft to the tip.

UNA CIUDAD DE CUENTOS DE HADAS

Praga es la capital de la República Checa, y la ciudad más importante de la región de Bohemia. Tiene una situación privilegiada en el centro de Europa y está muy bien comunicada con los países vecinos, lo que la convierte en uno de los destinos más visitados del continente. Tradicionalmente ha tenido otros nombres como La Ciudad Dorada, La Ciudad de las Cien Torres y El corazón de Europa. Praga se compone de la unión de cinco antiguas ciudades y esta bañada por las aguas del río Moldava. Tradicionalmente ha sido el centro político, cultural y económico de la República Checa. El embrujo que se desprende del Imperio Austrohúngaro todavía se puede palpar en las calles y plazas, en sus edificios mágicos y en el arte y la música que se respira en todos los rincones que esconde su ciudad. Su gastronomía goza de unas deliciosas sopas que vale la pena probar. Sin duda este es por excelencia el plato autóctono de República Checa. Existe una amplia variedad de sopas, aunque las más conocidas son: la ceská bramborová, que se puede considerar la sopa nacional y es cien por cien vegetal (lleva zanahorias, champiñones y patatas). La cerveza también forma parte de la cultura, por lo que muchos de los platos se preparan en forma de aperitivos (una especie de nuestras tapas), para acompañarlas en bares y restaurantes.

Comenzare mi ruta desde la Plaza de Wenceslao, el centro de la ciudad nueva y lugar que ha presenciado muchos de los acontecimientos de la historia reciente de Praga y de la República Checa. Centro cultural y financiero de la ciudad moderna Nova Mesto, límite de entrada a la ciudad medieval. Desde ella subiré a la Plaza de la Ciudad Vieja, donde se encuentra la Torre de la Pólvora, una ennegrecida torre gótica, una de las trece puertas de la ciudad, que en la actualidad, compone uno de los símbolos más representativos y que además de ser uno de los barrios más pintorescos, es uno de los puntos de mayor interés turístico junto con el Puente de San Carlos. Este no sólo une las dos orillas del río Molada, alma de la ciudad y de la cultura checa, que es cruzado por diez puentes, aunque uno es el que acapara la belleza y la energía. Y es que a lo largo del puente se suceden nada menos que treinta estatuas de la Virgen y de diferentes santos. El más venerado, San Juan Nepomuceno, lanzado al río por orden del rey Wenceslao IV y que otorga favores a los fieles que piden un deseo poniendo la mano izquierda en la base de su estatua. Este histórico puente actualmente de uso peatonal, une las dos grandes áreas turísticas de Praga, la ciudad vieja (Staré Mêsto) con la ciudad Pequeña ( Malá Strana).

En la plaza, se puede subir a la Torre del Ayuntamiento o visitar la impresionante Iglesia de Tyn finalizada en el siglo XVI. Pero lo que no te puedes perder es el reloj astronómico, que es el reloj medieval más antiguo del mundo. Cuenta la leyenda, que para evitar una copia de este milagro Mecánico, los concejales mandaron matar al maestro relojero. Subiremos al castillo de Praga, monumento cultural e histórico nacional más importante, símbolo de más de mil años de desarrollo del estado Checo. Se trata de un conjunto monumental de palacios, fortificaciones y edificios religiosos, administrativos y residenciales que reflejan todos los estilos arquitectónicos. En 1962 fue declarado patrimonio cultural nacional No. 1 como el lugar más importante de la historia checa. Para la bajada del castillo, y no sin antes pasar por su magnífico mirador, para disfrutar de las mejores vistas de la cuidad, llego a la calle Nerudova, un verdadero placer para los sentidos; por el colorido de las fachadas, las tiendas de recuerdos, la animación de sus cafés y restaurantes, pero especialmente por la cantidad y variedad de símbolos que decoran las fachadas. La Calle Nerudova hacía parte del camino real que recorrían los reyes con su séquito al momen-

to de su coronación. Es por eso que inicialmente las casas que bordeaban esta calle pertenecieron a nobles, burgueses y artesanos de alto nivel, hoy sedes de las embajadas. Al pie de la colina del castillo, el Muro del John Lennon, que es efectivamente, un largo muro situado en una estrecha frente al edificio de la Embajada de Francia, a medio camino entre el Puente de Carlos y la Iglesia del Niño Jesús. Este muro lleno de grafitos con pintadas y letras de las canciones de los Beatles y, sobre todo, con una imagen de John Lennon, parece que surgió tras la violenta muerte del artista de Liverpool, en 1980. Tras su muerte, en ese muro apareció pintada una imagen de John Lennon, que era un icono de la libertad para la juventud y los países sometidos por el régimen comunista. Por el norte de la plaza vieja, ascenderé hacia el barrio judío Josefov, uno de los recorridos más habituales para poder admirar las seis sinagogas judías que quedan aún en pie y su cementerio. Desde el barrio judío cruzando el río Moldava, llegaré al parque Letna Park donde sin duda alguna pude disfrutar de las mejores vistas de Praga.

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and the most important city of the Bohemian region. Prague is made up of the union of five ancient cities and is bathed by the waters of the Moldova River. Traditionally it has been the political, cultural and economic center of the Czech Republic. The spell that comes from the Austro - Hungarian Empire can still be felt in the streets and squares, in its magical buildings and in the art and music that is breathed in every corner that the city hides. From there, I will go up to the Old Town Square, where there is the Powder Tower, a blackened gothic tower, one of the thirteen gates of the city, which

today makes up one of the most representative symbols, being one of the most picturesque neighborhoods. Is one of the main tourist point along with Charles Bridge. This not only links the two banks of the river Molada, soul of the city and the Czech culture, which is crossed by ten bridges, although one is the one that captivates beauty and energy. And is that along the bridge there are no fewer than thirty statues of the Virgin and different saints. Por fin ha llegado la gran exposición de Lita Cabellut: “Retrospective” a Barcelona No se dejen engañar por sus ecos clásicos y de porcelana, sus retratos son afiladas radiografías del alma. Inaugurada el 4 de octubre, la esperada muestra de la Fundació Vila Casas se mantendrá ocho meses, hasta el 27 de mayo de 2018. Se ha preparado como un gran reconocimiento a su trayectoria artística, en las mismas salas donde comenzó su carrera: els Espais Volart. I still remember when my parents gifted me my first Super Nintendo for Christmas, turning it on, and be amazed with Super Mario World. And then Super Street Fighter II came. Finally, I was able to play my favorite fighting game without having to use 25 coins every time I was defeated. What a wonderful

time! So, right now, in 2017, I have a Super Nintendo that’s smaller than my hand. The feelings are brutal. On this new version, we have 2 identical gamepads from the original console, a HDMI cable and 21 preinstalled games. We only need to connect the console to any USB port of any our electronical devices in our home, turn it ON, and play. And as a final surprise, we have STAR FOX 2, a game that wasn’t released back then, so if you like the saga, go for it!. I’m out guys, it time to play!

¡Por fin llego el día! Ya tenemos entre nosotros la Super Nintendo Mini. Como ya hiciera hace unos años con las NES mini, Nintendo nos trae la revisión en pequeño de la clásica Super Nintendo, esa que a los que ya pasamos de los 30 nos trajo numerosas tardes de puro vicio. Aún recuerdo cuando mis padres me regalaron por Navidad mi primera Super Nintendo. Enchufarla con el Super Mario World y gozarlo como no está escrito. Y luego más tarde vino Super Street Fighter II. Por fin podía dar rienda suelta a mi juego de lucha preferido sin tener que gastarme 5 duros cada vez que perdía. ¡Qué tiempos aquellos!

Sin embargo, las agujetas nada tienen que ver con él, sino con la realización de actividades donde predominan las

Cada vez más, conocemos a gente de nuestro entorno que sufre Diabetes. La evolución en la sociedad moderna nos conduce por caminos poco saludables que pueden contribuir a la aparición de esta patología; sedentarismo, malos hábitos nutricionales, estrés, falta de sueño etc,. Veamos qué es exactamente la diabetes y cómo podemos contribuir a su mejora con el ejercicio físico. ¿ Qué es la diabetes? La diabetes es una patología metabólica con la característica de la alteración de la glucemia en sangre provocando episodios de hiperglucemia cuando esta se encuentra en valores de >126 mg/dl en ayunas o >180 mg/dl basal como resultado de la restricción de secreción de la insulina o resistencia periférica a la insulina. Existen dos tipos de diabetes: Diabetes tipo 1: De origen genético que aparece en la infancia o adolescencia debido a una degeneración de las células Beta-pancreáticas (10% de los diabéticos). Diabetes tipo 2: suele aparecer con la edad de manera adquirida debido al estilo de vida de cada persona. Se produce por una inadecuada producción de la insulina por parte del páncreas y su mal uso de las células (90% de los diabéticos). Recomendaciones de ejercicio Está demostrado que el ejercicio físico ayuda a disminuir los efectos de la diabetes siempre que esta se haga de forma continuada con un mínimo de 3 veces a la semana con un máximo de descanso entre sesiones de 72h. Eso se produce debido al estimulo que produce el ejercicio en el transportador que se encarga de captar la glucosa en sangre e introducirla en la célula. El entrenamiento de fuerza es recomendando debido a su directa relación con la regulación de la insulina, así como el entrenamiento aeróbico a una intensidad de moderada (60-70% de la frecuencia cardíaca máxima( con un volumen inferior a los 60 minutos seguidos (se aconseja hacer intervalos de tiempo de menor duración).

Otro tipo de entrenamiento que estar indicado es el de alta intensidad de corta duración ya que se a demostrado que se estabilizan los niveles de glucemia por la noche en diabéticos Tipo 1. A continuación, se describen las consideraciones que hay que tener en cuenta para realizar ejercicio con ese tipo de patología. Consideraciones La persona diabética tiene una capacidad menor de tolerancia al ejercicio por lo tanto, es preciso moderar la dosis ya que con una dosis de ejercicio menor este puede mejorar mas. En ejercicios de fuerza, evitar la realización de maniobras de Valsalva, de espiración forzada con la boca y la nariz tapada, que aumentan la presión arterial. Medir siempre la glucemia basal antes de hacer ejercicio: - Si es <100mg/dl tomar carbohidratos antes de empezar - Si es >250mg/dl posponer el ejercicio Evitar el ejercicio físico en el momento del pico máximo de acción de la insulina. niciar el ejercicio 1-2 horas tras las comidas. En caso de hacer ejercicio. pasadas 3-4 horas después de la última comida, se recomienda realizar un aporte extra de hidratos de carbono (e.g. plátano, galletas). Evolution in modern society leads us through unhealthy ways that may contribute to the onset of this pathology; sedentary lifestyle, poor nutritional habits, stress, lack of sleep etc. Let’s see what exactly diabetes is and what we can do to improve our well-being through physical exercise. What is diabetes? Diabetes is a metabolic pathology which is characterized by the alteration of blood glucose causing episodes of hyperglycemia when it is in values of> 126 mg / dl fasting or> 180 mg / dl basal because of the restriction of secretion of insulin or peripheral resistance to insulin. There are two types of diabetes: Diabetes type 1: Originally genetic that appears in childhood or adolescence due to a degeneration of Beta-pancreatic cells (10% of diabetics). Existen dos temas en mi agenda que sin duda juntos hacen de mi paladar y mi cotidianidad algo enriquecedor, hacer turismo y la gastronomía, más aun viviendo en el país considerado por la Organización Mundial de Turismo (OMT), como una referencia gastronómica para hacer turismo. De hecho, más de un tercio del gasto de un turista se dedica a alimentación. Y aunque estas cifras hacen sonreír a más de uno debido a los beneficios que como emprendedores o empresarios en esta área, hay que reconocer que España se las trae con esto de la gastronomía y los escenarios turísticos, que le sobran. Pero como el mundo es mundo y cada día que pasa pareciera girar más rápido, este fenómeno del turismo como experiencia gastronómica o también al contrario, las Experiencias gastronómicas como turismo han ido en aumento con el diseño y la implementación de diversas formas de combinar una con la otra. La creatividad y el desarrollo de las redes sociales, la globalización que permite obtener ingredientes de todas partes del mundo han permitido que hoy por hoy se puedan disfrutar lo mejor de ambos mundos. En definitiva con los días, el tema de las experiencias da tanto de que hablar que podríamos pasar el año entero descubriendo tan alucinante mundo. Es que este movimiento es tan sorprendente que ya podemos disfrutar de hoteles bajo el agua dentro de una habitación a todo lujo con-

tenido en una gran burbuja, pero es que además estos hoteles también cuentan con una oferta gastronómica de otro mundo. Siguiendo en esta línea no podemos dejar escapar el vino como elixir universal desde la época de los dioses, pues si en Tenerife y en otras locaciones se pueden encontrar bodegas de vino bajo el mar y lo más increíble es contar con cabinas presurizadas donde se puede disfrutar una cata de estos maravillosos caldos, como tanto me gusta llamarles. También hemos encontrado que no solo los maravillosos productos y la gloriosa variedad gastronómica a lo largo de nuestro país son importantes, también el formato de la experiencia cuenta, porque además de disfrutarlo sobre un barco, bajo tierra, dentro de una burbuja y hasta en un dirigible, en España se siguen desarrollando todos estos nuevos conceptos sin nunca perder el mayor tesoro con el que contamos, las tradiciones y las personas que de una u otra forma intentamos mantener y difundir que las nuevas experiencias gastronómicas que se han ido desarrollando, siguen guardando los secretos de las cocinas de antaño. Y aunque son tiempos para celebrar lo afortunado que este país, también es tiempo de reflexionar respecto a la calidad del servicio, la profesionalización de todo el entramado social, para afrontar lo que sin duda se viene en pocos años, un vendaval de nuestras generaciones de amantes de esta cultura.
