Climate in Germany
Statistics say: June, July and August have nice weather with a good average temperature. August is the warmest month, January the coldest, July is the wettest and February is the driest month.
Climate in Spain
The weather in Spain is so hot, in summer is about the 30-40ºC. In winter is mild, too, about 5-15º C. But it usually never rains so we have a rather dry landscape. But yes, we had some snow last winter – extraordinary! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1Ypzsh-WC8
A symbol of Germany Not only because we were on a class trip to Berlin: for us and many other people the Brandenburg Gate is the most important symbol of Germany. The Fall of the Berlin Wall took place on 9th November, 1989. Almost a year later, on 3rd October 1990, the GDR no longer exists - Germany is reunited.
A symbol of Spain This is a fan, a typical object in Spain. We use it to get some fresh air when it is hot, because Spain is too hot in the summer. And sometimes we use it to dance Flamenco, too. It has a long tradition, at least since the 4th century BC.

A landscape that we love
Most of us love the North Sea or the Baltic Sea. In summer it is really nice there, even if the water is not so warm. It is nearly always windy, so we have these typical beach chairs where we can sit and relax, sheltered from sun and wind.
A landscape that we love
Because it is so hot here in summer, we all love the beaches. The beaches in Spain are famous. They are wonderful and beautiful. And the water is warm, because we are on the Mediterranean coast.
