This store location was added to the Yorkdale Shopping Center as part of the mall’s expansion in 2016. The interiors are in keeping with the brand’s intuitive, minimalist and human-centric designs that emphasize modern function and simplicity. The storefront’s aesthetic is an abstract reference to the forests and mountain peaks where their technically precise products excel in nature’s most unforgiving environments.

Saje Natural Wellness is a growing west coast Canadian retailer best known for promoting healing through plant-based sources with their essential oils. The store designs reflect the value they place on biophilia, incorporating a living wall in every location as well as light finishes in natural materials like oak wood to further support the company’s plant-based focus.

The renowned French beauty retailer approached the studio to convert a heritage property into their first Canadian spa and retail destination. Located in the upscale Yorkville neighborhood of Toronto, Caudalie Hazelton House, includes a retail boutique as well as a spa providing facial and body treatments.

Diptyque, the famous Parisian brand known for candles and fragrances, entrusted us to create their first Canadian store. Each Diptyque store exudes the cozy ambiance of a French apartment. We collaborated with Parisian artisans to showcase their unique craftsmanship through “perfectly imperfect” millwork. The compact space features hand-pressed plaster ceilings, Murano glass sconces, and an outdoor-inspired facade. With a copper water table and flamed copper fireplace, the store exudes a warm and homely atmosphere.

The studio introduced the Crate & Barrel brand into two major shopping malls in Canada. To meet Crate & Barrel’s requirements, intensive modifications to the malls’ floor plates were necessary. Our creative solutions gave physical form to this established US retailer’s strong brand in Canada.
