Mad Radish, a fast-casual eatery founded by the creator of David’s Tea, is renowned for its nutritious and delectable salads, soups, and bowls crafted with top-notch ingredients. With a focus on serving take-out and delivery customers, the design seamlessly incorporates pickup counters for online orders and an assembly line for assembling personalized salads and sides for walk-in patrons. Additionally, there is a limited amount of seating available for dine-in guests.

This brand-new gallery store, built from scratch and connected to an existing mall, showcases fully furnished and decorated rooms that create an intimate atmosphere despite the grand scale of the building. As the first of its kind in Canada, this RH location boasts four floors of opulent home decor, a glass conservatory, a landscaped outdoor rooftop area, a coffee bar, and a full-service restaurant, all presented in a gallery-style setting.

While the majority of their work has involved traditional storefronts, they have also opened locations within historic buildings and implemented unique and customized concepts like Starbucks Express outlets. Brown Hart Gardens

The rejuvenation of Brown Hart Gardens provides a new public garden in the heart of London’s Mayfair on an elevated public square over a Grade II listed substation immediately adjacent to Oxford Street. Built in 1905, it reopened to the public in 2007 after years of neglect. BDP’s interventions and landscaping bring it back into an exciting use for local people and visitors. The raised gardens include a small café with associated preparation facilities and toilets.

The twenty new ONroute Service Centers are vibrant, welcoming, and iconic landmarks along the highways of Ontario. They were awarded the Dr. Veronica Vaughan Most Accessible Business Award in 2012 for their commitment to accessibility. Designed to reflect a unique identity, these service centers are built to last for 50 years, while being universally accessible and environmentally sustainable, catering to the needs of all visitors and promoting eco-friendly practices.

A major retail led mixed use development on 5.6 hectares to the south west of Oxford city center. The scheme has redeveloped and extended an existing shopping center with improved retail space including a new department store, over 100 retail units, 30 cafes and restaurants, as well as new housing and improved parking facilities, seamlessly stitched into the historic fabric of the city.

As a component of the Paddington Central Development at 5 Kingdom Street, the masterplan for this former goods yard, situated near Paddington Station, encompasses a versatile food and beverage destination. It features a street food market that can be converted into a community sports hall. Known as Paddington Box, it provides a dynamic leisure and cultural space with newly established restaurants, cafes, and public areas, contributing to the vitality of this sustainable mixed-use neighborhood and destination.

In honor of the local town’s robust industrial heritage, we have crafted a new food destination located at the core of a sizable retail project in the city center. To captivate the imagination of both local residents and tourists, we incorporated a diverse range of materials, colors, and culinary offerings. Visitors will relish the numerous views of the town’s industrial backdrop while exploring an enticing array of food options at our inaugural “Industrial Kitchen.”

A new upscale bakery brand called Amadeus enlisted BDP to create a design for their new store in the Food Market at Upper Canada Mall. The design seamlessly blends with the overall look of the building while incorporating unique finishes and branded elements. One notable feature is a custom pastry case imported from France, adding a touch of elegance to the space and highlighting Amadeus’ commitment to luxury.

Earl’s Restaurants creates a welcoming space for friends and families to gather. Inspired by local farmers, they prioritize high-quality ingredients and exceptional service, making them one of North America’s successful family-owned restaurant groups. In 2018, we collaborated on their newest Toronto location near Sherway Gardens Shopping Center. Despite challenges like a complex site and the pandemic, we successfully managed the project, resulting in a community-embraced restaurant.
