Roscoe Thomson ‘A Glasgow Fair’ A Glasgow Fair recalls the city’s traditional holiday fortnight by re-imagining stories passed down through generations like precious family heirlooms. It is created from the memories of people and places as experienced by others rather than any kind of then-and-now style comparison. A Glasgow Fair is an impressionistic work illustrating the blurred lines between reality and fiction. It’s been made by retracing a series of journeys to various town such as Millport, Rothesay, Dunoon, Largs, Southbeach, Saltcoats.

Winchin Top of by Kelly Craig
PRETHEATRE MEAL
A wonderful tale of Scottish life in the 1950s, Winchin will bring back memories to those who lived through those heady days of postwar freedom. Humour abounds in this poignant tale of the best days of your life. A love story from the past that can be enjoyed by all generations.
their Game
A celebration of two comedians at the top of their game – pity no-one can work out what the hell they’re playing at. Warning: Show contains no heart-warming tales about dead relatives, no redemptive accounts of sobriety, or anecdotes about life changing encounters with a monk while travelling around Goa. It will however, be very, very funny.
Feeling the panto blues? Join the cast of Total Kayos for an unseasonal summer panto! Watch as Dame Dottie Drawers, her son Chester and their friends try to save Princess Aurora from the evil fairy Carabosse. A real treat! Family entertainment - suitable for all ages.
Fools on a Hill
Local (and non-award winning) playwright Chris Patrick makes his Beacon debut with his first full production of a dark comedy, Fools On A Hill. After God appears to one of them in a vision, two Christians decide to start spreading the word of God again, the only way they know how - a good old fashioned crucifixion. A quick trip to IKEA later and they’re ready and raring to go. At least one of them remembered the co-codamol!
