Question Month OF THE

Compiled by Rhonda Wray

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done? Dianne & Rob LeBlanc Dianne: “As teenagers, my friends and I would jump into random strangers’ hot tubs late at night.” Rob: “At 14, I jumped off a bridge into the Niagara River above the Falls. The scariest thing I’ve done is skydiving. You really have a sense of your mortality, wondering if the chute will open okay.”

Alesia Mia Easterling “I’m a cancer survivor, and I still have neuropathy in my hands and feet. So the craziest thing I’ve ever done is go fly fishing in spite of it. My husband dreamed of fishing in a certain place in Wyoming, and I went along and caught the biggest fish of my life!”

Ann Dickey “As a new grad in physical therapy, I got my dream job at St. Louis University. I worked there for three months before quitting my job and moving to Flint, Michigan for love. I didn’t know another soul there except my boyfriend. While I was able to find a job in Flint, all my patients were on workers’ comp and had no incentive to improve. It definitely wasn’t a dream job, but I found my dream guy and we got married (and better jobs followed).”

Denise Meyer “I’m normally reserved, but I went zip-lining in the Dominican Republic and Cancun, Mexico. It was pretty scary because they don’t have OSHA constraints. They had to make sure you could climb before they even let you on the course. We actually climbed up telephone poles to get to the top. Zip-lining in a foreign country—it will scare the living bejeebers out of you!”
