MOVIE CH A R ACTE RS I’ve always been a movie lover, and sometimes those movie characters do become my source of inspiration. In this project, I attempt to portray those movies characters which I love. In addition, I emphasize movie characters’ personalities and their features in order to make people recognize them easily.
The Parent Trap | colour pencil, watercolour Hallie and Annie are twins; however, they live in the States and the Great Britain respectively due to their parents' divorce.

Toast | colour pencil, watercolour. Nigel has been fascinated by cooking. He used to try making Mrs. Potter's lemon meringue pie back in his high school days. Mrs. Potter is good at cooking different pies. She makes a competition of cooking when the teenaged Nigel shows an emerging interest in cooking.

LITTL E BU BBLE' S DR E A M The design concept is from a Chinese novel. One of the short article in that book, it decribes a girl who couldn't achieve her dream and she learned it the hard way. It is a story which is filled with a sense of helplessness and sadness. I was captivated by this story because I used to dream of being a princess; however, I have never reached. Therefore I decided to adapt the plot and draw this story as my works. When I was drawing, I felt enjoyable and had passion for painting those characters. However, it took me for a while to draw a dragon so I search different kind of dragons as my references.
Bubble wanted to be a princess. She wore her hair in plaits and dressed like a doll.

MY DEAR WATE RMELON I like to draw the topic about love as well as people's inner mind. In this project, I use those images to convey the feelings of people over the course of falling in love to breaking up. ''My Dear Watermelon'' is about a girl and her precious watermelon which is also a metaphor of people's lover. During the drawing process, I drew the drafts first and then I tried to draw on my sketch book via watercolour and colour pencils in order to ensure the colours are suitable. In the final stage, I drew on different texture of papers to compare the difference.
Lily got a lovely watermelon. She saw it as her precious.

These days, technology has improved significantly but it also made people more isolated and introverted. Smartphone is becoming our best friend, lover and family. The main purpose is to encourage people get ride of smartphones and embrace face to face communication once again.
The topic is about smartphones so the animation is played on three seperate iPhone and iPads in oreder to make the interaction.

An unknown creature brought a new technology for human. People soon found how to use it. They started calling each other and taking pictures everywhere and named it ''Smartphone''. Afterward, people couldn't live without it. However, one day, people found that they couldn't get rid of it and then it became a part of their bodies. Eventually, those who used smartphones all turned into cyborgs.
