Beaumont Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) is offering children an opportunity to learn, have fun and create new friendships.
BEAUTIFUL FROM THE INSIDE OUT (9-11 YEARS OLD)
This self-esteem day camp is designed for 9-11 year old girls to discover their best qualities and personality traits. Self-esteem, healthy friendships and examining how the media portrays beauty will all be covered through discussion, pampering and fun activities. Join in the fun and learn how to be the best you can be. Please bring a bag lunch and snacks.

GIRLS SUMMER DAY CAMPS (10-12 YEARS OLD) HOME ALONE (10-12 YEARS OLD)
Being home alone can be an uncomfortable and unsafe situation without some basic skills. Dealing with siblings, friends and strangers, internet safety, fire safety, safety in the kitchen and more are covered in this course empowering participants to feel safe and confident while home alone. LEARN TO SKATEBOARD!
Are you ages 5+ and want to try skateboarding? Join FCSS and Rumor Boardshop for 3 days in the summer to learn how! Run by trained instructors from Rumor Boardshop. Rumor has been running skateboard camps for 12 years.
This is a 3-day, basic to intermediate workshop, focused on the basics such as turning, pushing, and using all obstacles of the skatepark.

Beaumont FCSS supports families and individuals in all life stages through prevention focused programs, supported referral and information to promote and maintain social wellness for a healthy community.
What FCSS staff can provide • Complete income taxes returns at no cost to low income residents • Assist with applications and forms for government programs, pensions and subsidies • Provide subsidy for counselling • Provide solution focused counselling to youth • Provide supported referrals and information about other community resources such as housing, food, legal services, health, mental health, income support, family violence resources, etc. • Assist seniors to maintain their independence through subsidized housekeeping service and Government program navigation • Complete Christmas elves intakes • Answer parenting questions, provide parenting tips and activities for children • Provide information about Child development, health and other aspects of family life to enhance parenting skills and family stability • Refer to programs that offer support to new parents and support to early learning and care providers • Community Support through grants and subsidies • Partnerships with school to offer children and youth programming • One-to-one support • Host workshops for youth addressing a variety of topics
Individual Support Services Provides supported information and referrals to ensure residents are matched with appropriate resources Youth Center & Services Provides mentorship and a safe place for youth in the community
