For more than a decade, Empire students and staff have supported our local communities through various fundraising initiatives and events. To date, close to one million dollars has been raised for local antidomestic violence programs across the country. Our annual National Day of Beauty event is held each October. On this day, 100% of proceeds from our student clinics are donated to local women’s shelters. Each year Empire honors police officers, firefighters and emergency medical technicians serving on the front lines of domestic violence through our First Responders Day event. Empire Beauty School students receive training to identify signs of domestic abuse and refer clients to people who can help. Additionally, Empire Beauty Schools support other local initiatives through partnerships with various non-profit organizations in their area.
