INTRODUCTION There are so many beautiful and wonderful places all across the world which a lot of people can only dream of seeing, or admire through the Internet. I want to explore and see so many places, but the chance of me ever getting to see most of these is pretty slim unfortunately. I guess you could say this project is an indulgence of this desire I have, as it has let me research several places I think are wonderful, and has allowed me to discover places that I would never of thought to research before. I have also been able to do a bit of primary research into what people think of each destination I thought was pretty cool. The most interesting part of this was asking people where they thought each place was within the world, which gave me some pretty unusual results to say the least. In this book I have recorded all of the best things of 10 of the places I have researched, for not only myself but other people to enjoy and drool over, and I just hope you all enjoy devouring the pages of this book as much as I enjoyed creating them.

SURVEY ANALYSIS
After undertaking mainly secondary research into my destinations, I then wanted to produce some of my own research, so I could get different people’s opinions on my destinations, specifically what they thought of each place, and where they thought each place was geographically. I also asked whether they had been to any of the destinations, as I felt this would affect their responses to my other questions, depending on how well travelled they were. I posted my survey on social media sites, such as Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr, to try and get variedresponses. I thought the best way to present my results from my survey was in pie charts, as I thought this would be an easily interpretable chart, one that is easy to read.

These charts show me that the destination most people know where it’s geographical location is is Amsterdam at 92%. This could be because it has extremely well known landmarks, such as the “Red Light District”, which is why many people visit Amsterdam, as well as it’s beautiful architecture. Bali is the least known place at 54%, perhaps because it is an unusual place to travel to, very interesting, but not on many people’s top 10 lists.

From this Pie Chart, I can see that the most visited destination from my selection was Paris, at 20.5%, with 8 people having visited Paris out of the 13 who completed my survey. That is a very high percentage of people having visited Paris, which isn’t surprising giving it’s charm and location close to England.
