BON APPÉTIT CATERING AT LAWRENCE UNIVERSITY

Bon Appétit catering is committed to presenting foods that appeal to both the palate and the eye. Our menus are thoughtfully designed to highlight the freshest local ingredients available. This catering guide incorporates our most popular selections. If you want a traditional picnic with hamburgers, brats, hotdogs and potato salad we can do that. If you would like a five course meal with exotic entrees from di erent cultures we can do that as well. Our catering department is only limited by your imagination! All catering requests for items from this guide must be placed at least 14 days in advance. We will gladly create custom menus to your specifications. We require a minimum of 21 days for customized menus and pricing. This allows us the necessary time to obtain the ingredients. If you prefer, you can meet with Courtney Koci, Catering Manager, and Michael Downey, Executive Chef, to plan your event in person.

MENU PRICING

Our menu prices are based on current market conditions. We reserve the right to make changes when products are unavailable. Price quotations will be guaranteed 30 days prior to the event. Prices do not include applicable taxes and/or service charges, when they apply. Additional charges may be necessary for any rental items or service labor beyond our usual sta ng levels.

RESERVING YOUR LOCATION

For other events on campus, the host is responsible for reserving the space, ensuring it is available for date and time of the event.

GUARANTEES AND CANCELLATIONS

Final guaranteed meal counts are due 7 business days (Monday-Friday) prior to the event. For your convenience, we prepare to serve 10% over the guaranteed number (up to a maximum of 10 guests). Billing of all food, equipment rental, taxes and service charges will be based on the guaranteed number of guests or the actual number of guests served, whichever is greater. In the event that a guarantee is not received within the time requested, the billing will be based upon the original count requested on the event order. We require that all cancellations be made no later than 72 hours prior to the scheduled event. A minimum of 50% service charge will be assessed if cancellation is made within 72 hours of the scheduled event.

PAYMENT AND BILLING

You will receive a copy of the event order form listing all estimated charges for approval. A copy of the event order form must be signed and returned to the Bon Appétit Catering O ce 7 business days prior to the event. A final invoice is created at the conclusion of the event based on final attendance and additions.

MISCELLANEOUS FEES

All customized linen and/or equipment requests, or florals would carry an extra charge.

DISPOSABLE WASTE POLICY

Bon Appétit and Lawrence University are committed to working towards a sustainable future. We are dedicated to reducing waste and will only use disposables on a limited basis.

LEFTOVER POLICY

Due to health regulations, perishable leftovers may not be taken from the event and will not be packaged for removal. Catering equipment may not be removed from the event. In cases where it is removed, re-placement charges will be applied to the final bill. Bon appétit will not be held responsible for food items removed without our knowledge or prior consent.

MENU SUBSTITUTIONS POLICY

The options listed in this guide are a starting point to plan your event. Substitutions can be made, but have to be handled on an individual basis per event. Due to cost and product availability.

SERVICE OPTIONS

SPECIAL MENUS

Bon Appetit will gladly assist you in making arrangements for any special menus at your request. A minimum of 21 days advance notice is required for any special menu. This would allow us the time to purchase all necessary ingredients.

BANQUET EXCHANGE SERVICE

Menus are derived from Andrew Commons lunch or dinner menu and featured at your event. Menu selections will be made by the Executive Chef 5 days prior to your event. China, glassware, silverware and basic linens are included. Additional rental costs would be applied to final event invoice. Standard sta ng is included. See below for details. Banquet Exchange menu includes: Salad, One Starch, One Vegetable, Two Entrees, One Dessert, Ice Water, Lemonade, and Co ee.
