Help your athletes gain a competitive edge through our new Healthy Athletes in the Bon Appétit Kitchen program. This program seeks to move athletes’ food choices from knowledge to action by pairing fundamental nutrition information with hands on culinary training — bridging the gap between the food choices athletes are making and their knowledge of how to optimize performance and recovery.

EAT LOCAL CHALLENGE Beyond whipping up a delicious all-local meal for our Eat Local Challenge celebration on Sept. 28th, this year our teams will create an all-local shopping list guests can use to identify local foods the next time they go shopping at a farmers’ market or grocery store and then construct completely local balanced meals at home.

EATERS Each guest has their own style of interacting with our services based on their preferences and daily changing needs. Our job is to consider each eater, and make sure we have a plan to not only solve their eating needs, but to surprise and delight them every day! Let's activate the eating experience!
NAVIGATING DINING | EATER MAPS You and your team work so hard to create delicious and interesting meals all over campus everyday - but do people know about it? Open their eyes to the variety! Have you taken some time to think about the various EATERS on your campus? How do we point them in the right direction? (their direction!) Consider a curated map! Use it to highlight locations or services that appeal to a target audience.
FIELD GUIDES Riffing off the adventures theme, we've built a suite of brochure options with mix and match sizes and patterns as well as some text to get you going. These can be easily customized and printed or used digitally.
DAY 1 DINING We treat our guests, new and returning, like family and we want each person entering the café to feel at home. Set the stage at a welcome table (at an orientation event or at the café entrance) with key resources to help navigate your café with ease and comfort. Consider that information our guests need from us and what information we need from our guests in order to keep them informed. And don't forget to consider how to activate their dining experience! HELP CAMPAIGN HEAR ABOUT IT Listening to guests is as important as talking to them. Do you have a plan in place to solicit guest feedback, respond, and take action (when necessary)?
Walking into a new dining environment can feel a bit overwhelming. Dining is such an essential part of campus life and we want to make our cafés as inviting as possible. The Help campaign aims to break down any intimidation and invite guests, particularly students, to ask any questions that come to mind.
