Wine & Oyster Festival at The Sun in Felmersham

On 26th and 27th June, the first weekend of the potential return to the ‘normal times’, The Sun, The Wine Cellar and RawBoys will be hosting a weekend that includes Wine and Oyster Masterclasses, an Oyster Shucking competition, a Banquet on the Saturday evening, A Wine based Brunch, things to do for the little ones, local business presence and live music (provided by local Jazz supreme Tom Syson and his Trio including guest singer James Hudson) and a DJ all weekend.

Husband and wife team Peter and Conny Pestell at The Sun in Felmersham have been transforming the food scene in Bedfordshire with the way they champion local produce and bring a little big city magic to the beautiful village of Felmersham. The Wine Cellar based in Woburn, Olney and, most recently, Felmersham has one of the most impressive wine collections anywhere on our beautiful Isle, after Stefan Botfield spent years working at the very top of the wine world of Britain. RawBoys are yet to open, however, in late May local lad Toby Boutall, who has spent four years as Oysterman at the Chiltern Firehouse with his partner Paige Hughes, will be opening their first site on the new development Islington Square in Angel, London.
