Esch-surGrevenmacher Alzette Luxemburg Mersch Redingen Remich Vianden Wiltz If you do not know your Canton, you can find a list of communes and their associated canton here. Each of the above cantons has a beekeeper club or union. All of these unions cooperate through the "Fédération des Union d'Apiculteurs du Grand-Duché de Luxembourg" (FUAL) or “Luxemburger Landesverband für Bienenzucht". When you become a member of a Canton, they will also register you as a member of the federation FUAL. The membership fee varies from Canton to Canton; most of your membership fee is used by the Canton to pay the membership fee of FUAL. The membership fee charged by the Canton is decided at their annual General Assembly meeting. We encourage the Bee Together group to join a Canton that is located near them. Each Canton organises regular meetings though in some cases it may be difficult to have discussions in English. Consequently, the Bee Together group will continue to organise English-based meetings and events, and using Google Groups, we will invite the members of the Cantons to come to English activities. Some of the benefits of joining a beekeeper club are outlined below. Receive the monthly beekeeper news magazine “Lëtzebuerger Beien-Zeitung” with articles and information mostly in German.
