JASON BURNETT:
HIT PLAY AND PRESS REPEAT
ARTIST STATEMENT “ The vessels I create are designed
to entertain and provide a sense of joy. Cheerful surfaces and simple forms are intentional invitations to engage my pottery. I compose layers of color and pattern and bring together stained and burnished surfaces to suggest an emotional state of youthful merriment and curiosity. Works created are influenced by American folk art, mid-century motifs, and pop culture material in both real and idealized domestic landscapes.
