Sarah Veak was born and raised in the south eastern region of the United States. In 2010 Veak moved to Ithaca, New York where she received a degree in studio art and apprenticed with Renata Wadsworth. Over the years Veak has gained an appreciation for and knowledge of atmospheric firings as her studio practice evolved and traveled coast to coast. Veak now resides in the urban core of Kansas City, Missouri working out of her home studio complete with plants, magnetic poetry and a sweet pup named Penny.
