The week of Jan. 26-Feb. 1, Belle Plaine firefighters responded to the calls that included: Thursday, Jan. 29 Firefighters were dispatched at 11:36 p.m. to Jordan on a mutual-aid call for a structure fire in Valley Green Park. Saturday, Jan. 31 Firefighters responded at 8:54 a.m. to a report of a garage fire at a house on the 8200 Block of 240th Street in Belle Plaine Township. There were no injuries reported. The Minnesota State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fire.
