Scott County Board Proceedings BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS COUNTY OF SCOTT MAY 22, 2012 (1) The Board of Commissioners, in and for the County of Scott, Minnesota, met in the Courthouse Board Room in the City of Shakopee, Minnesota, and convened at 9:02 a.m., with the following members present: Commissioner Wolf, presiding, Commissioner Wagner, Commissioner Menden, Commissioner Marschall, and Commissioner Ulrich. (2) Amendments to the Agenda Chair Wolf announced the addition of an agenda item to honor Ryan Orham upon receiving the Eagle Scout Award. (3) On a motion by Commissioner Ulrich, seconded by Commissioner Marschall, the Minutes of May 8, 2012 were approved unanimously. Scott County Sheriff Kevin Studnicka presented the All Hazards Committee Emergency Medical Service (EMS) Outstanding Service Award for 2012 to Ted Weber of Ridgeview Medical Center Ambulance Service. This award is meant to honor an EMS responder during EMS Week for outstanding service to their community in the area of pre-hospital care. Sheriff Studnicka provided a brief history of Mr. Weber’s 25 years of service as an Emergency Medical Technician. E. Commissioner Marschall moved, seconded by Commissioner Ulrich to adopt Resolution No. 2012-101; Proclaiming May 20-26, 2012 as National Public Works Week in Scott County. Janet Williams, Chair of the Scott County Mental Health Local Advisory Council (LAC),provided an informational update on the work of the LAC. G. The mission of FISH is to partner together to meet human needs so that individuals will be able to live healthy, transformed lives. (7) Manage Challenges and Create Opportunities: A. Natural Resources Program Manager Paul Nelson provided background information on the Plan Amendment #2 to the Scott Watershed Management Organization (WMO) Water Resources Management Plan.
