4th-11th MARCH
On the 4th March we were so excited because we were going to London with our teachers Prof.ssa Capitanio and Prof, De Finis. At 11 o’clock the plane took off and at 14,30 we landed at Gatwick Airport. There were some taxis waiting for us to take us to our host families.
2nd day
We went to TheEdwards Language School and we had the first lesson from 9 o’clock to 12 o’clock. We were divided into two groups. At 12.30pm we took the Tube to South Kensington. We visited the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
At 5.30pm we took the underground to go back to our families.
3rd day After school we took the Tube to Tower Hill and ourteacher Prof. De Finis gave us our daily ticket for the bus and the underground. We visited the theTower Towerof of London and we alsosaw Tower Tower Bridge.
We went to St. Katherine’s Dock; after that we walked as far as St. Paul’s Cathedral, crossed the Millennium Bridge and visited the Tate Modern.
At 6.30pm we went back to Ealing and we decided to eat out at Mc Donald’s.
4th day At noon we took the underground to Westminster and that day we saw Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. Then we visited Westminster Abbey that was huge , very beautiful and decorated.
We saw 10 Downing Street where the Prime Minister lives, we walked through St. James’s Park and we met a lot of squirrels.
Then we went out of the park and saw Buckingham Palace. We went to Trafalgar Square and visited the National Gallery, an amazing museum with pictures from all over the world.
5th day
At 12.30 we took the underground to Knightsbridge, we visited Harrods and after some shopping we went to the worldwide Hard Rock CafĂŠ.
We went to Oxford Street and we did a lot of shopping at Primark , which is a nice chain of clothes shops.
6th day It was our last day at school. At 12.30 we took the Tube to Holborn and we visited the British Museum.
After that we went to Covent Garden, a nice place where there is a market and some elegant and expensive shops.
We went back home at 6 o’clock in the afternoon.
7th day We didn’t go to school but we took the underground to Camden Town in the morning. We visited the market and did some shopping. Then we walked through Regent’s Park and we went to Oxford Street again because our classmates enjoyed Primark a lot and its good prices!!
We went back to Ealing earlier than usual ,because it was Jessica’s birthday and we went to Mc Donald’s and ate all together to celebrate her birthday.
8th day
Today was really our last day and we were very sad. We woke up early , closed our suitcases and at 8.45 the taxis were there and we had to leave. We said goodbye to our families and took some photos with them. At 1.15pm we were on the plane with a lot of sadness but also with a beautiful experience that we won’t forget anymore‌
London is a nice city and we hope to return there soon.
