WATER: A PRECIOUS GOOD Water is a precious good that in a few years, will probably become as precious as oil. The melting of the glaciers and the pollution of waters will considerably reduce the water as resource for humanity.

The pollution of fresh water Various types of pollution exist: - Eutrophication = the excessive contribution of nourishing substances for the plants or of decomposed organic substances in the water. -

Sewerage = a system of pipes and passages that carry sewage.

-

oil disasters = environmental disasters caused by oil spilled from ships or other containers into the enviorment.

DON’T WASTE TAP WATER • Carefully close the tap: a tap that loses a drop in the second disperses in one year around 5.000 liters. • Use the water used for washing fruit and vegetable to water plants and flowers. • Choose low consumption washing machines

• Use half the reservoir when you flush the toilet. • Don't leave water flow uselessly. • use drinkable water only for alimentary use.
