What do I do when I get off the plane in JFK (New York) ?

As soon as you arrive to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK): 1. Follow signs to go to "BAGGAGE CLAIM". 2. Pick up your bags. 3. Once you have all your bag(s), follow signs to go to the "AIRTRAIN". The AirTrain is JFK airport’s internal monorail transportation system. This small train is FREE (you don't need to pay to ride) and it takes you to and from all terminals (1 8) inside the airport. 4. At the AirTrain boarding area, board the AirTrain going to "FEDERAL CIRCLE". If you need assistance, there is an AirTrain staff member at each boarding area that can point you in the correct direction. 5. Belo staff will be waiting for you at the FEDERAL CIRCLE AIRTRAIN STATION ! They will be holding a "Belo USA" sign and wearing a Belo red t-shirt, so you can find them easily.

6. DO NOT LEAVE THE AIRPORT ALONE! You can only take the AIRTRAIN inside the airport. DO Belo NOT take any other means of transportation Usa Travel such as taxis or buses outside the airport. You MUST check in with a BELO USA staff member at the airport upon your arrival. 7. If there are any emergencies, please call our emergency line: 1-866-924-8215.
If your flight is delayed/canceled or if you miss your flight…DON'T WORRY, WE WILL HELP! 1. If your flight is delayed, don't worry! Belo Staff will be checking the status of your flight periodically. When you do arrive, please proceed to "FEDERAL CIRCLE", where Belo Staff will be waiting for you. 2. In the event that your flight is cancelled or if you missed your original flight, please call the TRIP COORDINATOR at the EMERGENCY NUMBER (1-866-924-8215) and inform us about your new flight arrangements, including airline name, flight number, departure time and estimated arrival time. If your bags get lost... DO NOT LEAVE THE AIRPORT BEFORE YOU: 1. Inform your airline's baggage service office (located in the baggage claim area) about your lost luggage and complete all the paperwork required. 2. Be sure to tell the airline that you are part of a BELO USA Travel group, and give them the name and address of the HOTEL where the group will be staying. 3. Keep all the paperwork the airline gives you, including your baggage receipt. 4. Finally, inform a Belo staff member that your bags are missing. HAVE A GREAT TRIP!
