Bull Ridge Ltd. is one of Belize’s top exporter of sawn lumber. The primary exportable species include Mahogany and Cedar. 70% of total milled is exportable material, while the remaining 30%, including Mahogany and Cedar paneling, flooring, siding and moldings, are sold locally to maintain a healthy supply of hardwoods for Belizean manufacturers. In 2006, Bull Ridge Ltd. obtained exclusive timber rights to all forestry production within the Chiquibul Forest Reserve. Logging operations are conducted sustainably in compliance with a multi-year Sustainable Forest Management Plan and consecutive Annual Plans of Operation.
