In IFMSA we believe doctors of the future should not stay focused on their specific domain, ignoring these upcoming global threats. As the Belgian Medical Students’ Association, we encourage healthcare students to collaborate on an international level and to look for solutions for upcoming worldwide health problems. We aspire to make medical students, who will be an important part of the future health workforce, future-ready advocates for health. This we will accomplish by enhancing their leadership skills and giving them important competencies in the fields of team-work, project management, public speaking and self-reflection.
