Born Into This
Adam Thompson
Engaging, thoughtprovoking stories from a Tasmanian Aboriginal author who addresses universal themes –identity, racism, heritage destruction – from a wholly original perspective.
Most of the stories stood out with their sharp, insightful writing and deeply human themes, and while we loved many of the narratives for their compelling characters and thoughtprovoking plots, a few didn't quite hit the mark.
Overall, it's a solid read with plenty of memorable moments, earning a well-deserved average of four stars.
Definitely a recommended read for anyone looking to delve into the complexities of life through diverse and engaging storytelling.
