Foothill High School Baseball is dedicated to developing and supporting its student-athletes in their efforts to achieve personal, academic and athletic excellence; resulting in the highest standards of achievement. Our program provides a foundation which prepares student-athletes for future success. We ask our players to work hard, play hard and be a great teammate. A Cougar Baseball player lives by the motto, “Conquer the world through ability, grace, and character, and your legacy will live forever.�
Todd Buck Varsity Head Coach
Todd Buck >> VARSITY HEAD COACH Coach Buck graduated from Shasta High School in 1988, where he was a three-year, varsity letterman as a catcher and pitcher on the baseball team. He graduated from Sacramento State in 1992. While in Sacramento, he started his coaching career as the JV coach at Rio Americano High School. From there, he moved back to Redding and began teaching and coaching at West Cottonwood Middle School. In 2004, he started teaching at Foothill High. He was the JV coach for 3 years before assisting at the varsity lever. After 2 years of assisting, he became the varsity head coach. Away from coaching, Coach Buck enjoys golfing, camping and hanging out with his wonderful wife (Amparo) and kids (Garrett and Mason).
