WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE! Nothing says spring like the arrival of the baseball season. We are excited for the game today and hope you enjoy your time with us. Dublin Jerome High School prides itself on academic excellence. We are proud to be recognized by Newsweek and US News and World Report for being one of the top-performing high schools in the United States. Our distinction as an International Baccalaureate World School, strong Advanced Placement Program, and dedicated faculty provide our students with an excellent academic foundation. Our students work hard in the classroom and we are extremely proud of them. Although we pride ourselves on having a strong academic reputation, we are unique in that we also have wonderful athletic and arts programs to compliment the overall student experience. Today, you are watching our baseball players represent our school with character, commitment, and class. We value our students’ dedication to being well-rounded individuals and praise them for serving as excellent ambassadors to our school. Thanks to the hard work of our Dublin Jerome Dugout Club, we truly hope that you have a wonderful experience with us and will come back soon. BASEBALL SEASON BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN ALL OF US. There is no wonder it is called “America’s Past-Time.” Maybe it is because it signals the start of spring, an opportunity to play on a field of green, or enjoying the strategies and decision-making that occurs among players and coaches. It is a game worth watching. As we start the 2020 Celtic Baseball Season, I want to express my thanks to our Jerome Community for not only watching our student-athletes this season but also supporting them through Dugout Club organizations and volunteering. Our parent organizations are second to none, they help to create a community atmosphere by working in the concession stands, helping maintain our fields, and supporting our student athletes both on the field and in the classroom.

I am extremely proud of Coach Huesman and his coaching staff as they work with our students. Not only do they teach students the game of baseball, they emphasize life-skills that go beyond the game. Maybe that is why it is called “America’s Past-Time” after all. Thank you for your dedication to our students!
