These young men have dedicated countless hours on little league fields and batting cages as youth to realize the dream of wearing their high school varsity jersey and competing for championships. A MESSAGE FROM THE
HEAD COACH On behalf of all of the coaches, players, staff and administration, I would like to welcome you to Steinbrenner High School. We are so excited for our 2020 baseball season! Our team has been working incredibly hard to prepare, and are truly blessed and ready to take on one of the toughest districts in Hillsborough County. This year we will rely on our returning players and newcomers to guide us through as we try to continue the outstanding traditions of the Warrior Baseball Program. Seniors Brayden Heidel (St. Leo University), Donovan and Griffin Garcia (Flagler College) and Michael Blackwood (Central Connecticut State University) all signed recently, and will be in charge of leading a talented and hungry group of players toward another District, Regional and State Championship. I would like to take a moment to thank each and every supporter of our Steinbrenner Warrior Baseball Program. Every dollar donated and every minute given in service to our program makes a tremendous impact. GO WARRIORS!

COACHIN G STAFF
John Crumbley >> VARSITY HEAD COACH Coach Crumbley has coached at the high school level for 32 years: 22 at Jesuit Tampa and 10 at Steinbrenner High School. At both schools, he has compiled a record of 762 wins and 218 losses. At Jesuit, Coach Crumbley led the Tigers to a record of 575-149. They appeared in the State Final Four 11 times, winning the State Championship 3 times, including one National Championship. At Steinbrenner, Coach Crumbley was hired as the first head coach in school history, as the school opened its doors in 2009. In only 10 seasons, the Warriors have run their record to 187-69, including 3 District Championships, 5 Regional appearances, and the program’s first State Championship in the 2016 season.
