HEAD COACH DEAR CHARGER FANS, Thank you so much for coming out to Charger Field and supporting our program. We are honored to have you in the seats and hope you have an enjoyable evening no matter the outcome. These young men have worked tirelessly throughout their high school careers to become better ball players, better students and better members of the community on a daily basis. We as a staff, could not be more proud of their accomplishments and growth. We would like to say thank you to the families of these young men as well. It is their support that helps us achieve our goal of raising quality young men that will be future leaders of our community. We believe the culture here at Central High School is strong! The Charger family is a tight knit family and YOU are a part of that. When you wear the crimson and gold, you are part of our program. COACHING STAFF 2020 KELLER CENTRAL BASEBALL
KYLE WATSON >> VARSITY HEAD COACH Coach Watson is in his 14th year over all coaching, 6th year here at Central High School, 4th year as the Head Coach. Previous schools he has coached at: Ballinger High School 2007 and 2008 (Varsity Assistant and Pitching Coach), Mount Enterprise High School 2009-2013 (Head Baseball Coach), Allen High School 20132014 (Varsity Assistant and Pitching Coach). Coach Watson has over 80 career wins as a head coach. He is married to Debra Watson, a realtor through DFW Legacy Group, and they have five kids; Kameron (21), Hannah (20), Jakeb (18), Evan (17), and Aly (13). He grew up in Odessa, Texas and graduated from Odessa Permian High school in 1994 where he played baseball under Coach Bob Highley. He played college baseball at McMurry University for Coach Lee Driggers in Abilene, Texas and graduated from there in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Science degree. After a short stint as an Adult Probation Officer and Investigator with Child Protective Services, he began his coaching career in 2007. Along with coaching baseball, he teaches US History in the classroom and coaches the corners on the football field during the fall. He has coached football for 13 years as well and was fortunate enough to win a football State Championship in Allen in 2013.
