COUNCIL NOTHING CHANGED Bendigo Citizens and Ratepayers held high hope for change at City Hall after the last Council Elections. Sadly, not to be. The Andrews Labor Government’s contempt for the victims of Victoria’s triple zero crisis has deepened, says Matthew Guy, Leader of the Opposition. "While the Premier continues to refuse to release the Ashton report into the crisis, his government has now refused to comply with a parliamentary order to produce key documents relating to failures in management of the emergency call system". The government has told the Legislative Council that it doesn’t have time to comply.

Australia’s premier event on the canine calendar is back, with around 10,000 people and their dogs set to walk together for RSPCA’s Million Paws Walk next month on Sunday 22 May.
