My decision to purse Master’s Program in Urban Planning has emanated from my immense interest in the field of Urban Design and Planning where its impact is on every species inhabiting the environment. It amazes me how the organisms and their built environment creates a complex networking where complimentary partnerships are rooted in principles of cooperation and sharing among cities and ecosystem for a healthy growth. The art of understanding “Urbanism”, the different urban issues and learning how to analyse it in different perspective has inspired me to pursue Master’s program in your University. With this degree I aspire to gain mastery over different planning strategies and decision making process.
Right from high school, science related subjects fascinated me. Out of this curiosity I joined architecture school where art and science meets. When introduced to the various concepts and ideas of urban design it gave me the opportunity to analyse the ecosystem from an individual level to city level. Even I found myself curious enough to know more about various planning strategies adopted in different parts of the world. As I was keen to get more knowledge on this subject, I attended different online courses, webinars and meetings related to this subject. During my final semesters I found myself more interested in the urban design field.
I chose your university for my master’s studies as it is among top ranked institution for Urban Planning. On the campus grounds, there are various sporting and recreation facilities provided. Apart from all these facilities, what actually attracts me towards the university is its well-structured curriculum which will help me gain insight about all planning aspects and technologies. I will also get deeper knowledge on how to organize a team and various planning aspects thereby improving productivity, decision making, problem solving, communicating and coordinating. This specialized learning will further guide me to take important decision and implement a better environment for all.
I believe, studying at your institution which provides high education standard at an international level will be an added advantage to my credentials.
