Solid growth for engineering company

Lenoch Engineering was established in 1961 as a jig and toolmaker to the automotive industry. Since then, it has continued to grow substantially, through a process of evolution and continual investment and acquisition, to add diversity to the portfolio of services that are offered.

Lenoch has become a multi-faced group of companies, covering a broad spectrum of industry, including some world class clients in the field of power generation, manufacturing, packaging, and distribution, automotive, utilities, offshore oil and gas, aviation, and renewable energy. Indeed, Lenoch also export larger scale projects to countries such as France, USA, China, and South Africa.

Today, Lenoch delivers tangible 24/7 engineering solutions that play a crucial role in the success and sustainability of its client companies, and we are proud to be a Tier 1 business partner to many blue-chip clients.

Lenoch is known as a reliable, rapid response, short lead time “get the job done” commercial partner, with the know-how and resource to tackle the most challenging projects and provide solutions in quick time while adhering to ISO 9001 quality standards and has had solid growth year on year despite recent challenges.

The company continues to invest in its future by sponsoring a number of high calibre apprentices through college and providing relevant work experience in its workshops.

Lenoch has seen major growth in the field of delivering Turnkey Projects to a number of world renown manufacturing companies involving cutting edge technologies and collaboration of a range of specialist providers.

He continued: “All this expertise is being retained and will be supplemented by the additional capacity and infrastructure we can offer and access to business services and dispute resolution legal advice.

“Annual fees are currently £1.2m and we expect these to increase to £2m by the end of 2024.”

Scaiff LLP is the third acquisition made by Talbots Law in the last twelve months and follows the purchase of Sarginsons in Coventry and Wright Solicitors with offices in Dudley and Bewdley.

The M&A activity, combined with strong organic growth, has seen revenues rise from £22m to £24m in 2023, with a £30m target set for 2024.

This will be achieved by further deals in strategically identified parts of the West Midlands and, longer-term, the possibility of moving into the East of the region.
