Young Chamber programme helps to equip students with crucial skills
Sponsors of the West Cheshire & North Wales Young Chamber programme recently supported Sixth Form students at Castell Alun High School during a mock interview day, organised to prepare the students for future steps after education.
Six sponsors of the Young Chamber programme helped make the event a great success as over 40 students were interviewed for roles that they had previously prepared for. The aim of these mock interviews was to equip students with experience and insight into the skills that potential employers, colleges, and universities are looking for during the interview process.
Lauren Robinson, Assistant Director of Sixth Form Studies at Castell Alun, commented the following about the event:
“Our warmest thanks to the employers for giving up their valuable time and effort to help our Year 13 students develop their interview skills. Our learners welcomed feedback from the employers; it was inspiring to see them motivated, engaged and professional during the interview process. As always, we value the Young Chambers support in meeting our school vision.”
