Description
Production engineering
Using CADCONNECT to create product data from the CAD system
Use Autodesk, Inventor, and SolidWorks, Creo a.o. to transform and model a construction bill of material into items, production bill of materials and routings, working on a single full overview screen, and create Dynamics NAV data automatically.
Production engineering
Using CADCONNECT to create products MANUALLY – items, bill of materials and routings
Create your new product from scratch with items, bill of materials and routings in CADCONNECT working on a single full overview screen, and finally create the data in Dynamics NAV.
Production engineering
Using CADCONNECT with existing NAV PRODUCT DATA
CADCONNECT supports the use of existing NAV product as the basis for creating a new product.

Just copy an existing NAV product, and work with the data in a SAME-AS-EXCEPT manner, to create a new product, or a product variant in Dynamics NAV from a single display screen. Production planning & shop floor execution
Using SHOPFLOOR to plan and execute paperless
The SHOPFLOOR solution is the production planner’s playground for sequencing and prioritizing the execution of production orders. The SHOPFLOOR solution facilitates paperless operator execution with extensive job data collection, but also supports time and attendance, advanced quality assurance, and lot and serial number management

jobs. In addition, later important product quality documentation can be send to the customers who require this. Time & attendance
Using SHOPFLOOR with integrated Time & Attendance
Time and attendance is used to record employee presence, and paid and various non-paid absence.

Collect the T&A data and send them to a payroll provider for payroll processing. Alternatively, write data immediately to Lessor TA among other. Shop floor execution (MES)
Using SHOPFLOOR EXECUTION with bundled (combined) manufacturing execution
Modern production technology often requires the ability to bundle (combine) similar processes across multiple production orders - Laser cutting nesting, automatic welding, assembly etc. With our solution, you get the option to combine orders and execute efficiently as one unit, and still get a fair actual cost calculation afterwards on individual items produced. In addition, we also handle the situation where an operator runs more jobs on more machines.
Manufacturing traceability
Using SHOPFLOOR EXECUTION with batch/lot and serial number controls
On top of our SHOPFLOOR solution, we handle the execution of a production, involving the use of batch-/lot numbers and assigning serial numbers in any combinations. Use this function to establish item tracking, if your products require product traceability in one way or the other.

Production planning
Using SHOPFLOOR PLANNING to Replan and reschedule production orders and work load
We support the function to change a planned execution work center or resource into a different one, when the unexpected happens.

The unexpected can be a machine failure; key operator is ill, or as simple as an overloaded machine or resource. This re-scheduling is carried out in a very intuitive and efficient manner.
Production planning
Using SHOPFLOOR with integrated visual/graphical production scheduling
The Visual Production Scheduler (VPS) is a Gantt chart add-in planning tool, which closely integrates with our SHOPFLOOR solution. The VPS helps schedule production orders, production order lines and operations, thus enabling better management of capacities and delivery commitments.
Production planning
Using ORDERPLANNING to shift a production order or project production order into new due date(s)
The ORDERPLANNING solution operates as an integrated part of editing a production order. We all know the problem with standard NAV. When it has been posted material and or capacity to a released production, order you cannot change due dates etc. We have changed this and a few other things to make this functional under real production conditions.
Logistics

Using ITEMPLANNING on items to obtain true projected inventory availability
This is the tool which displays a true projected (-or expected) inventory availability on every item or component at any point in time. It answers the important

question: "When can we deliver?" and "How many?” Making the right decision very fast is what the logistics planner in various department’s needs. Master production schedule planning
Using ITEMPLANNING with sales forecasting
Develop your MPS - Master Production Schedule using an effective tool to evaluate forecasts and sales orders, and thus use the greater demand as basis for the planning worksheet calculations.

You will be in control to monitor the optimal projected inventory availability, while satisfying promised sales orders are delivered on time. Logistics
Using ITEMPLANNING with item simulation and “what-if” scenarios
On top of working with projected available inventory for an item, this feature allows you to ask "What-if" questions and immediately see the consequences when the unexpected happens. F.ex. a purchase order on a critical product component being delayed 2 weeks.
Production planning
Using ITEMPLANNING to control production orders shortages
You have released a production order. What about potential component shortages? This example will show how ITEMPLANNING is used to work on production orders component availability and "Available-tomake" considerations. ITEMPLANNING for production orders is the efficient tool, which gives you the full overview on the potential shortage situation for a released production order.

availability. Can we make a bill of material product, and what are the potential component shortages? In addition, if we encounter shortages at the time we want the components, when can they solved as earliest.

It is difficult to see the inventory impact and relevance of carrying out the proposed actions. Fortunately, we now have a tool to verify the relevance of the output from the planning engine.

Using ITEMPLANNING on ASSEMBLY items
The interesting questions to be answered are: How many kits am I able to make right now? In addition, if quantities exceed this quantity, when can I deliver again? ITEMPLANNING is used to analyze assembly items component availability and "Available-to-assemble" considerations.
