In recent years, there’s been a trend for soft apricot tones and light, fresh scents – a versatile combination. Once established, keep your new plant looking its best with specialist rose feed sprinkled around the base in spring and mid-summer, a thick mulch of compost in autumn to suppress weeds, and regular dead-heading of faded flowers. The judges loved its upright shape, its delicate scent, and its long-lasting flowers – ideal for romantic mixed borders and summer patio containers.
