Last Respects

At Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells Hospitals there are viewing rooms where you can pay your last respects (viewings are by strict appointments only). The Viewing Suite/Mortuary will make the arrangements for you during office hours 8am – 3.30pm Monday – Friday Tunbridge Wells Hospital 01892 635946 – Maidstone Hospital 01622 224457. Out of hours, please call the ward where your relative was an in-patient and the staff will be able to assist you. You can call a member of the Chaplaincy Team from the hospital, at any time, for support and help. All funeral directors have a Chapel of Rest and you may feel it more appropriate to pay your last respects there. Your funeral director will be able to arrange this for you.
