JULY 4TH AT THE CLUB pool parties, cart parade, festivities & grand fireworks! It's time to celebrate 4th of July at BHC ~ yesterday's pool party was a big hit and tonight it's our Sunset Splash Bash Pool Party & BBQ from 6-9pm at the Fitness Center. We're looking forward to Saturday's popular Cart Parade! Then enjoy the evening festivities capped off with our Grand Fireworks Showcase. Our Annual Cart Parade tradition is fun for all - Meet at the Clubhouse on Saturday to begin lining up at 10am. The Cart Parade starts at 10:30am with prizes for Most Patriotic, Most Creative & Judge's Choice! From 6-9pm, pull up in your golf carts for fun games at the Fazio Center or the 18th Fairway for a casual, family-style gathering with social distancing, of course! Golf games include closest to the pin and you can enjoy refreshments from the Fazio bar or at the Clubhouse for those with reserved dining. Our spectacular Grand Finale Fireworks will take center stage between 9-9:30pm. Happy 4th!


ENJOY CHEF JEFF'S DINNER MENU . . . with must-try weekly specials! Executive Chef Jeff McKinney brings his more than 30 years of culinary experience to the table and we invite you to experience his new dinner menu. Below, a note from the chef and his personal recommendation for the Grilled Pumpkin Swordfish. One of this week's specials, come enjoy the opportunity to taste this hard-to-find delicacy!

"As I put my personal touch on the culinary side of things, our new dinner menu features traditional favorites as well as weekly dining features. This week, we're so fortunate to have Pumpkin Swordfish, known for its delicate, sweeter flavor, presented grilled with tri-colored peperonata, black olive pesto and parmesan risotto." - Chef Jeff Reservations are required. This week's showcased specials include Crispy Pork Cutlet Salad and Crabmeat Spaghetti, shown here. Crispy Pork Cutlet Salad is presented with kale, radicchio, Anjou pears, cherry tomatoes, and champagne dressing. Crabmeat Spaghetti with lemon-garlic gremolata and lightly toasted herb breadcrumbs.

STAFF SPOTLIGHT Eric Antman, Equipment Manager Many of you share our appreciation for Berkeley Hall's exceptional community grounds and credit the great work of our talented crew, much of which relies on the skills of Eric Antman, Berkeley Hall's Equipment Manager. "We wanted to shine the spotlight on Eric's highly skilled expertise and extraordinary finesse when it comes to all things mechanical," said Chris Young, Director of Golf Course Maintenance, which also incorporates Community Grounds. Eric brings his more than 30 years of experience to his work on Berkeley Hall Club grounds equipment. When he's not working he enjoys family time with his wife Lori and the apple of his eye, 16year-old daughter Lexi (shown here).

Fun facts to share about Eric: Originally from Chicago, he previously served as a technician for John Deere & Company and Jacobsen Manufacturing. Eric used to build and race cars at Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR's biggest track, and other speedways. Owns a 1967 Mustang. (of course) Next time you see Eric on property, you'll know a bit more about him, and you'll find him friendly and easy to talk to!
