BERKELEY HALL EXPERIENCE EXPERTS: QUARTER III
Berkeley Hall’s Experience Experts celebrates and rewards employees who exemplify the club’s values in their job performance and interactions with co-workers, management, members and guests. Members can nominate Experience Experts by completing our online nomination form found on the member website under the My Club tab. Boyd Davis serves on our Security team in the position of patrol officer. He joined the Berkeley Hall team in May of 2015, and we thank him for his attention to detail and meticulous efforts to uphold our community to the highest standards. Cameron Hill exemplifies the Berkeley Experience, with her outstanding member and guest service. She currently serves on our Concierge Services team as well as the Food & Beverage team. Cameron has been with Berkeley Hall since June of 2020, and her gracious smile and welcoming manner make her a great asset to the team.

Our new pedestal clock on the warmup range is a handsome addition to the practice area. Timeless in stature, it’s also one of the Club’s new enhancements, courtesy of the 34th U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur Championship this past September. Other features will include three flagpoles placed on the front mall, a new podium for the bag drop, new cooler for the warm-up range, and other additional items. We were honored to host the Women’s Mid-Am, and the tremendous support from our membership demonstrates what an incredible community we are. In 2017, we committed to not use any income from general operating funds for the tournament. Thanks to many individual donors, our Championship Finance Chair Marc Dulude and his team, we made that a reality. Postponing the Championship also generated additional funds from new members and USGA contributions. The goal was to raise $200,000, and with the second USGA contribution, we exceeded that by $80,000. Funds raised also covered labor expenses for our teams that worked so hard to ensure everyone from the USGA and all participants left saying that “Berkeley Hall was the best venue they’d ever experienced.”
