Dustin Dunn Appointed Assistant General Manager

BERKELEY HALL EXPERIENCE EXPERTS: quarter 4

Dustin Dunn has been named Assistant General Manager for Berkeley Hall Club. An innovative leader, Dustin brings over 20 years of deep industry expertise in cultivating a premier private club and luxury culinary vision. With wide-ranging knowledge of premier property management and a forward focus on enhancing the member experience, Dustin brings instrumental assets that we believe can greatly elevate our club amenities, culture and overall "Berkeley Experience." Most recently, Dustin served as Clubhouse Manager for Miramont Country Club in Bryan, Texas. There, he led the exclusive country club and residential community of 365 members, with astute financial oversight and management strategies. Prior to that, he served as Clubhouse Manager at Waverly Country Club in Portland, Oregon, an elite, 124-year-old private club known for its outstanding quality and amenities. With a deeply held passion for the private club industry, Dustin is an exceptional addition to our executive management team, and we are pleased to welcome him to the Lowcountry along with his wife Alisa and their two Chihuahua pups. Berkeley Hall’s Experience Experts celebrates and rewards employees who exemplify the club’s values in their job performance and interactions with co-workers, management, members and guests. Members can nominate Experience Experts by completing our online nomination form found on the member website under the My Club tab. Lala Gatchalian serves on our Food and Beverage team, and is always waiting to greet members with a smile. She joined the Berkeley Hall team in February of 2021, and we thank her for her gracious manner, superb attention to detail, and professionalism which truly exemplifies our Berkeley Hall standard of excellence. Assistant Pastry Chef Jill Hurley delivers the very essence of the “Berkeley Experience,” with her outstanding, not to mention delicious pastries, cakes, desserts, pizzas and more, all provided with exceptional member and guest service. Jill has been with Berkeley Hall since July of 2020, and her gracious, professional manner combined with top tier culinary skills make her a great asset to the team.

Open to all, come enjoy our complimentary member event featuring delicious food stations, live entertainment, signature cocktails and socializing! Our Grand Opening event has received an extraordinary response! Due to the high number of attendees, we have extended our celebration, which now opens at 2pm to allow for an advance preview of the new spaces prior to the 5pm kick-off. Gather with us on the Veranda and the Mixed Grille for our highly anticipated Phase I opening and the “GRAND REVEAL” as we announce the newly named Club venues! On the Veranda and in the Mixed Grille - Limited Opening in May The Veranda and Mixed Grille will have limited openings throughout May. Our team will be coordinating with Choate as they complete finishing details, and we will communicate weekly with you, so you will know our dining and seating availability. Both areas will be fully open by early June. Dining reservations will be required, along with open bar seating and casual seating areas. Gather with good friends and family in our welcoming new spaces for spectacular dining and views!
