Celebrate as the magic of the holidays come to light at Berkeley Hall’s annual Tree Lighting on the Mall! It’s always heartwarming to see our community come together during this wondrous time of year. Gather with family and friends on Saturday, November 26 at 5:30pm in the Grand Hall for passed hors d’oeuvres and cocktailing, in anticipation of the official tree lighting at 6pm. Each year, the search for the perfect tree brings us to Clay and Bev Cuthbertson’s family-owned Snowy Mountain Christmas Tree Farm. To us, the essence of the holiday is rooted in family, much like the philosophy at Snowy Mountain, where family tree farms help us remember the importance of staying true to the real meaning of the holidays, gathering with those we love to celebrate the season. Inside, the warmth of good cheer awaits! Verandah dining begins at 6pm with reserved seating. Jazzy holiday favorites set a festive note as you enjoy our gorgeous holiday fare. It’s the perfect way to kick off the season! Gather with us to celebrate the best of the season, with a brimming array of passed holiday hors d’oeuvres including Lamb Loin Pita Chips with Tangerine Mint Marmalade, Avocado Lobster Quesadillas along with a gorgeous holiday buffet of Shaved Beef Tenderloin, Bacon-Wrapped Scallops with Bourbon Maple Glaze, Chicken Cranberry Brie Tartlets, and exceptional desserts featuring Cranberry Linzer Tart, Eggnog Trifle, Christmas Cookies, Peppermint Macaroons and decadent Truffles. Berkeley Hall’s special Tree Lighting tradition welcomes all to share in the magic of the holidays, as thousands of lights come to life, to softly glimmer among the tree and dress the grounds in white splendor.
