Berkeley Hall is exceptionally honored to host the U.S. Women’s Mid-Am Championship, September 23-30th. We’ve worked closely with the USGA, our Championship Committees and our Agronomy team, as the nation’s top female golf professionals prepare to compete on our prestigious North Course.

We are honored to welcome the U.S. Women’s Mid-Amateur to Berkeley Hall. It’s a pinnacle distinction that places us among the premier courses in the nation.

The 34th U.S. Women’s Mid-

Amateur will be the club’s 3rd

USGA championship, and first since hosting both the Men’s and Women’s USGA State Team

Championships in 2005.

The USGA, formed in 1894, is the governing body responsible for administering the Rules of Golf, and oversees several prestigious championships.

Open to female amateurs aged 25 and older with a USGA Handicap

Index not to exceed 9.4. Field features the top 132 players who prevailed at qualifying sites across the country to compete in two rounds of stroke play, after which the field is cut to the lowest 64 scorers for match play.

TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE:

The medal play portion of the championship will be played on

Saturday, September 25 and Sunday,

September 26 as 132 women play 36 holes and try to secure a spot in the 64 person match play field. On Monday, September 27, the intense match play will start. Each round, half of the ladies will be eliminated until we reach the finals on Thursday morning at 9:00am.

Spectators are welcome to watch any of the action with no admission fee.
