“The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo”

by Taylor Reid Monique Grant is stunned when Hollywood legend Evelyn Hugo grants an exclusive interview to her over more seasoned journalists, but when she’s also chosen to publish Evelyn’s final confessions after her death, she learns the 79-year-old actress has enough life experience for them both. Growing up poor in Hell’s Kitchen, young Evelyn Herrera changes her name, and climbs the entertainment-industry ladder one husband at a time until she hits Oscar gold. Evelyn plays up her bombshell figure and hides her Cuban roots by dying her hair blonde – the first of many lies she’ll tell over the course of her life to prove she deserves her place in the spotlight. “The Secret Life of Sunflowers”

by Marta Molnar When Hollywood auctioneer Emsley Wilson finds her famous grandmother's diary while cleaning out her New York brownstone, the pages are full of surprises. The first surprise is, the diary isn't her grandmother's. It belongs to Johanna Bonger, Vincent van Gogh's sisterin-law. Johanna inherited Vincent van Gogh's paintings. They were all she had, and they weren't worth anything. She was a 28-year-old widow with a baby in the 1800s, without any means of supporting herself, living in Paris where she barely spoke the language. Yet she managed to introduce Vincent's legacy to the world. The inspiration couldn't come at a better time for Emsley. With her business failing, an unexpected love, and family secrets unraveling, can she find answers in the past? Review: Amazon
