tune

An artist picks up a paintbrush to fabricate a painting; a guitarist picks up a Retrorocket to create a masterpiece. Bringing the American classics to the foreground of guitar world, Retrorocket kicks off with iconic styles like the unforgettable double cut away. Our guitars are from the home of rock n’ roll, ensuring quality and soul in every strum. Made with carefully selected pure woods, attention to detail, smooth finishes and rockin’ pickups, nothing else can compare. A Retrorocket guitar is more that just an instrument. We put in the musician’s hands a medium for their inner star. We provide a platform for music that will be out of this galaxy. We only create the guitars that are reliable nostalgic classic Its not just for musicians looking back, but for younger generations needing direction to something that works like a charm. We are confident that our guitars have a perfect fit for any music lover. People say the sky is the limit, but with a Retrorocket aiding skill and imagination, there is no limit. Become a musician. Shine like a star Rock like the moon 2

Grunge Effect

Use grunge effect when logo is displayed for large instances (web page display, brochure covers, billboards, price tags). Use the grunge-free version for small instances ( magazine ads, stockhead of guitar)

Use Provided Colors

The main “pickup” shape as well as the star in the slogan share the same color when put together. They are the only elements that can be color changed if not black and white or reversed. Use the colors provided. See “Colors” for details.

10

Placement When placing logo in an ad, be sure to place in a area that is not busy. The logo should be distinguishable

Without Slogan

The logo can stand alone without the logo. But the slogan cannot stand alone. See “Dont’s” for details

Or

Altering Do not remove any elements of the logo to replace with other parts. The wordmark lives in the shape in every case that the logo is presented. The slogan belongs only below the wordmark and shape. No elements should be removed.

PRIMARY TYPEFACE Edmund Sans Pro (SSP) has a variety of weights and styles, which is why its perfect for sub-heads as well as the body copy. SSP Bold resembles the thickness of Ranger, but it is more firm and stationary. Ideal for the logo slogan, sub-heads and secondary focus.

ESP Regualr is ideal for large bodies of text or product descriptions. It is easier on the eyes and contrasts with the boldness of the logo as well as the headers/ subheaders.

Nostalgia & Effect Images can be nostalgic and appear to have a grungy effect. This brand is calling back to another time. Use this style for covers of brochures, web photos and ads. Refrain from using for displaying single product images showing the actual product being sold. Only for style covers.

Abstraction Close up photos help show the quality of the product. These types of photos can be used for mood/ tone images. They are not exactly a key image for a cover of a brochure, but they can be placed next to a photo of the whole product.

22

Drama Photos of the product can be dramatic to show off detail or the overall beauty of the piece. This would be ideal for product brochures, ads, and the leading image on a website.

Style The overall feel from Retrorocket should be calling back to a time in the past. Use ideas, styles and movements for inspiration. Imagery is not limited to just photography. Illustration is welcome as long as it fits the standards.

23

Img Dont's

Living Spaces Photos of living rooms with the product should not be used. The product is the highlight, not someone’s living space. This also avoids the issue of overly cluttered images.

Awkward Be mindful of who is holding the product. Retrorocket is for people who want to feel and be a part of the idea of “freedom”, “vintage” and the spirit of rock. Photos should show energy and the brand feeling. Family photos are ill advised.

26

Clip Art It was mentioned that illustration is welcomed, but there should never be an instance in which clip art should be used. Also stick within the color specifications or to vintage color palette. We want to display the American feel, not become cheesy or corny.

Broken Guitar Worn and broken guitars should not be used at all. We want to assure reliability as well as quality with the brand. Photos can be altered for the “vintage” or “retro” effect.
