COMMENTS: WILD JOE is an amazing racing machine designed by the worldwide renown architects Reichel / Pugh. She participated in the Rolex Middle Sea Race 2022 and is the ORC Overall Winner, ranking IRC 3rd Overall & 2nd in IRC1 Class. She has benefited from an intensive refit and upgrade program: 2018 Extensive cosmetic refit which has her presenting exceptionally well. Optimized with a new DSS foil system

New sail wardrobe from Doyle sails New Zealand.

2020 Following the design of Hugh Welbourn and Gurit engineering, the forward rudder and its structure was removed from the boat and replaced it with a centre canard. The pedestals were removed and electric drives were installed for the two primaries and the main winches.

For serving the extra needs of power, the high current system on board have been boosted up. Beside changing the high current wiring a complete Mastervolt system have been introduced to the boat.

It’s fair to say she has been given a new lease of life and is now back ahead of the game and ready to hit the podium.
