WHY CYCLE Cycling provides another reliable and sustainable option for efficient, door-to-door travel as walking, but at greater distances. Because of that, cycling can give the caregiver greater flexibility and access to more services that may be beyond a reasonable walking distance. Cycling is also good for last-mile travel to or from public transport. Cycling can allow the caregiver to travel more easily with other goods than walking or transit, too. Cycling also offers a multitude of health benefits from the increased physical activity. When caregivers cycle with a baby or toddler, it can be a time for positive interactions and engagement, such as talking with the child and pointing out sights.
