The latex foam, a natural substance, is a white emulsion found in certain cells (rubber-producing) of numerous plants. Our wholly latex produced mattresses are characterized by an inter-communicating open-cell structure that guarantees the non-deformation of the mattress in time, while the longitudinal perforations have been studied to ensure transpiration of this material. Flexible and elastic, Flou latex mattresses resist damage by impact, deformation and deterioration through age. The latex mattress is also highly anti-allergenic and hygienic, in full respect of the very highest health and hygiene standards. Again we would remind you of the attention that must be given to the care for your mattress. T H E FLO U P I LLO WS . The head is one of the most important parts of our body. This is why it is equally important to ensure it rests properly. To satisfy every type of rest, Flou has created a range of pillows in a variety of materials: from the most classical filled with wool or goose-down to the more innovative with adjustable filling, from the natural corn fibre to the extraordinary performance of Memoform.
1. Dacron Pillow - In highly-transpiring polyester padding. 2. Differentiated density pillow - Studied to keep the vertebral column in the correct position, alleviating the pressure on the head and the vertebral column. 3. Wool pillow - Classical pillow with 100% pure wool padding. 4. Goose-down pillow - Another classical pillow, filled with goose-down of certified and trackable origin. 5. Adjustable Rollofil pillow - Highly innovative, this pillow is filled with microspheres in polyester fibre that can be added or removed to create the desired softness. 6. Latex pillow - Produced in latex foam, it differs because of its inter-communicating open-cell structure that guarantees flexibility and transpiration. 7. Corn fibre pillow - Filled with a natural fibre extracted from corn, it is hypoallergenic and easily maintained. 8. Microfibre pillow - Filled with microfibre with a stitched-down hem. 9. Memoform pillow - Wholly produced in Memoform, a highly-technological visco-elastic material already described for the corresponding mattress. The pillow as well provides superior comfort thanks to its ability to follow the head movements. The internal cover is 100% pure cotton while the outside cover is made of a special fabric called ‘Climarelle’ because of its ability to stay fresh in the summer and not dissipate heat in the winter.

From the classical goose-down duvet to those filled with natural corn fibre, to the antiallergenic Valtherm fibre‌ All the Flou duvets have been studied to create and maintain the ideal temperature, for every season. In the event of intense cold it is possible to combine two duvets of different weights to guarantee unbeatable warmth. It can be described as the 4 seasons Duvet: a medium weight for fall and spring and a light one for the summer. Handy poppers join the two together. Available in all the different materials, it is ideal for all the different seasons. Valtherm fibre duvet - Filled with a special differentiated density padding, it is highly transpiring, antiallergenic and moth-proof. Available in versions: summer (80 gr/sq m), winter (400 gr/sq m), 4 seasons (300 gr/sq m + 100 gr/sq m) Goose-down duvet - This filling is plucked from under the bird’s neck (where the warmest and softest feathers are located). Moreover, all the feathers are hand-selected, grouped on the basis of weight and dimension, washed in SPA water and accurately sterilized. Available in versions: winter (180 gr/sq m), 4 seasons (160 gr/sq m + 100 gr/sq m) Corn fibre duvet - Respecting the highest ecological parameters, the filling of this duvet consists of a natural fibre extracted from corn. Available in versions: 4 seasons (300 gr/sq m + 150 gr/sq m) Hungarian goose-down duvet - Extremely lightweight and soft, nothing compares to the quality and lightness of this duvet. All the feathers are plucked from the neck (the softest and most valuable part) of young Hungarian geese. Plucking is performed twice a year according to an ancient farming tradition that protects the life and the health of the bird. After being selected, the best feathers are subjected to a process of sterilization in SPA water prior to be inserted in the duvet treated against house-mite. Bed-linen is not all the same. There are factors that determine the quality and the duration of the printed fabric. The Flou Center of Textile Research focuses exclusively on this area. The first step is to start with a top class fabric. This is why Flou selects high quality cottons (American cotton 4/32 and Egyptian cotton satin 60). Moving on to the dyeing phase, it should be pointed out that the depth of the color and the beautiful hues in the Flou prints depend on the high number of colors used (up to 18 or more). The resistance over time is guaranteed by the discovery of Indantherene dyes, which bind perfectly with the molecules of the fabric. And last but by no means least, the printing and finishing system, a process similar to the one used for photographic printing: the image appears only following the development in a special machine called ‘2-phase’. All of these procedures have been patented by Color System Mascioni®.
