Tallinn A trend-conscious shopping city

Tallinn has been a rich trading city since the Hanseatic era. The Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with pitched roofs, merchant houses, courtyards and watchtowers, bears witness to its former commercial splendour. Today, the city’s commercial life is more vibrant than ever. Numerous modern, internationally acclaimed shopping centres, each with its own personality and atmosphere, have made Tallinn one of the most valued shopping destinations in the Baltics. The city with a lively rhythm of life consistently contributes to environmentally friendly development, which is why it is one of the finalists in the European Green Capital 2022 competition.

CITY CENTRE

The Viru Keskus is the most visited shopping and entertainment centre in Estonia, which is also a fashion centre. This is an urban adult world, which satisfies the most demanding tastes: more than 100 shops and service centres are assembled in the centre. Viru Square, where the centre is located, is the historical heart of the city right next to the Old Town, which is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The city bus terminal that shares the building with the centre makes it easily accessible to everyone. Those arriving by car will be delighted by the least expensive parking garage in the city centre, where you will also find the Viru VooluRing, Estonia’s largest charging area for electric cars. virukeskus.com Viru väljak 4/6, Tallinn
