When did you release you wants to go in advertising? It was weird really, I’ve always been artistic… I only ever enjoyed Art in school. But when It was in school the only career related to art that anyone spoke about was becoming an art teacher or just being an artist. Neither appealed to me, so I tried to specialise in subjects like geography and travel & tourism (random) but I just didn’t enjoy it. Then one day, no word of a lie I was watching Friends on TV and it was the episode where Chandler Bing decides to change his career. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtnZUa9UFhg] He decides to go into advertising and I thought it sounded cool, I’d never considered it before. So I researched online and found a university course that offered it (UCA Farnham) and applied! So yeah, it was so random.

But Persil’s uni to help you get to where you are now? brand line is “Dirt is good” which is part of an initiative to get So after school I decided to go to Sixth form, mainly kids spending more time outside. Read about it here: http:// because my friends did… but I hated it. As said above www.dirtisgood.com. I just think this is so clever and really I didn’t enjoy anything except Art. So after one year of AS Levels I quit and joined Plymouth College of Art to do shocking and people say content (So advertising that’s view online, youtube, facebook etc) has to either be shocking, a National Diploma in Art & design. I loved it, I got the funny or relatable. This does shocking extremely well! opportunity to do loads of different things; like graphic design, pottery, textiles, web design even glass blowing. Oldie but a goodie: This for the Guardian. https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=_SsccRkLLzU. Absolutely incredible, It was during my graphic design module I got my first taste of advertising as we had to create posters. It was so so simple but really gets their ‘the whole picture’ message basic back then, but I really liked how I could use my cre- across, which they still use. It’s so very clever and won tons of awards. ativity to concept not just create. I loved coming up with ideas and when I realised I could get a job doing that… Stuff I have done & am proud of: I was all over it! So after college as said above I went to UCA farnham where I studied Advertising and Brand Gamestore: http://www.ohhaicreatives.com/gamestore/ Communication. It was a great course (at the time, can’t something super fun we did last Christmas. Gamestore (Part speak for it now) This is where I met Danny (my partner of the National Lottery) asked us to help them sell more in crime) and we teamed up and started working as Art Scratchcards. Now we realised at Christmas often people Director & Copywriter (I’m the copywriter, Danny is the Art Director) together from second year we started doing would buy them to put in crackers or even as gifts. So we create bespoke Christmas Cards which could be given out placements in agencies In-between studying. So like on for free with a scratchcard purchase, so you could gift it to easter holidays or in the summer. We even went to New Zealand and worked at Y&R auckland for 4 weeks, which someone else. We’re hoping to do more of these for other was amazing! We graduated in 2012 and kept doing more occasions in the year too. and more placements to build up our agency experience. Nectar:http://www.ohhaicreatives.com/#/nectar/ This was Nectars first big brand campaign on TV. We had the job of From small places like Founded (who are actually now a bringing to life just how many partners nectar has, it’s not part of iris) to bigger agencies like BBH! Eventually we just Sainsbury’s! So we created a campaign around the ended up freelancing for someone we’d met whilst on placement, that freelance job turned into another job and thought that no matter who you are, or what you like, you can another etc. Then one day a recruiter got in touch with us get personalised offers from Nectar on what you like.
