TA KE C O N TR OL OF Y OU R S U C C ESS S even St e p s t o A c h i ev in g Yo u r Big g e st Dr e a m s Ever wonder how some people can accomplish so much while others struggle to complete just one task? Do y o u w i s h y o u k ne w what the i r s ec ret s are to b e i n g s o p ro d u cti ve ? After all, t hey on l y h a ve the s ame twe nty- f our ho u r s a s y ou, ri ght? Roughly over a year ago, I found myself wo n d er i n g ho w s o many au tho rs c an put out book after book, while statistics show a staggering number of as p i r i n g a utho rs who b e gi n b u t n ever complete their very first project. While t ry i n g to w ri te my fi rs t b o o k , Sellin g Simplified, I experienced countless seeds of doubt. These doubts took root i n th e f or m of wo rry, co nfu s i o n, f rust ra ti on , f e a r , s e co nd -gu e s s i ng m yself , an d s o mu c h mo re , whi ch l e d to delay after d e l a y in co mp l e ti ng my b ook. After working countless hours—lite ra ll y d a y and ni ght—I fi ni s he d! But s o m a n y oth e r au tho rs d o n’t. T h ey’re overwhelmed by the stress and the time required; little by little, they a l l o w l i f e t o g e t i n t h e wa y o f t h e i r dreams until they walk away defeated. Th a t jou r n e y tau ght me p e rse ve ran ce! My book (which took 50 weeks to comp l e te ) r e c ei ve d fi ve -s tar b o o k rev iews and is the recipient of an international

Yo u m i g h t b e a s k i n g y o u r s e l f , “ H o w did sh e do t h at ? ” Well, f or on e , I wa s determined to follow through with the book once I started. I also experienced an interesting breakthrough: I realized there are no secrets to being superproductive. It reminds me of what G l i n d a t h e G o o d Wi t c h o f t h e S o u t h said t o Dorot h y in Th e Wizard of Oz . I n t h e mov ie, Dorot h y sees n o wa y to get home after the wizard leaves until G l i n d a s a y s , “ Yo u h a d t h e p o we r a l l along, my dear.” Just like Dorothy took control of her circumstances, I t o o k c o n t r o l o f m y s u c c e s s a n d h a ve already ac h ieved bigger t h in gs tha n I was ever able t o dream. I have compiled this list below of how forging ahead and implementing the steps has not only changed my life but has led to me coaching and teaching c oun t less ot h ers t o c h an ge t h ei r l i ves . An d you, my dear, h ave t h e po wer to do w h at I did by implemen t in g thes e st eps t o suc c ess. So, let ’s get s ta r ted !

J AY SI M O N E F R OM T H E M I N D O F A 1 0 YE AR O L D Just looking at Jaida Holley you would conclude she is your typical 10 year old girl. She loves cartoons, hanging with her friends, and cupcakes. But spend five minutes with her and you will quickly conclude that there is nothing typical about Jaida. Jaida is truly a special little girl; this was evident to her mother when she was born. And it was confirmed when the family received news that she was diagnosed with Sickle Cell disease following her newborn screening. But that didn’t stop this little fire cracker. By age four Jaida wa s s t a r t i n g K i n d e r g a r t e n a n d h a d a l r e a d y l i ve d i n t h r e e d i f f e r e n t s t a t e s a s a m i l i t a r y c h i l d . J a i d a r e a l l y t o o k o n a s t r o n g l o ve of reading and came out of Kindergarten reading very well. In First Grade she began to keep writing journals and learning about writing structures with her teacher taking notice of her gift of storytelling. And so the transformation to Jay Simone begins… January 2014: Jaida attended a Wealthy Sisters Network Vision Board party in Killeen, Texas as her mother stood up the local chapter of the women’s networking group. She had two goals for the year – Spend more ti m e wi t h he r f a m ily A ND S tar t her WR IT ING C AR E E R . Thes e seem like goals easily achievable that a highly motivated person could easily accomplish. Oh, did I forget to mention Jaida is only TEN YEARS OLD!! Yes, Ja i da is o n ly 1 0 ye a r s o ld and s he jus t s elf - p ublis hed her fi rst book. I would say she succeeded in accomplishing her goal of starting her writing career. Jaida, who writes under the name Jay Simone, released her book titled “10 Short Stories & Poems from th e M i n d o f a 1 0 Ye a r O ld ” on M ay 4, 2014 to coincid e w ith nat i onal

RE ES H EM A H H O L M E S

HOST EVENTS TO ELEVATE YOUR MLM BUSINESS IMMEDIATELY! Hosting events for your MLM business is known as being a required practice to keep your contact pipeline full while also elevating your business to the next level in record time. Most people are told this tip when they sign up, yet , they pass on hosting events because they are shy, busy, no one attends or maybe they just don’t want anyone coming to their home! I am a firm believer, however, that if the true focus was placed on serving your guests and solving their needs, the hostess would see events as being a required work for society and not just for self. The ironic part is you may not always be the solution; the solution may be another relationship that you have. With this being said, here are tips that I would suggest to confirm that the world is waiting for you to host your events: 1. Create a simple survey with your target market to get an idea around what they like, and also what they feel is missing in your area. I have seen people do simple surveys as a Face book status post, online anonymous surveys through companies like SurveyMoney.com or maybe even phone surveys. 2. Create a game plan for how you can solve their issues you received from the survey, easily with your product and/or service in a non-direct way. The key to creating this game plan is 2 words: Non-Confrontational and FUN! Remember to always put yourself in their shoes. Make the environment one where your guests even forget that you are staging a business product/service, because they are having fun and they now feel like they have to have it! 3. The more fun you can make your events with games, ice breakers, prizes, etc, the more relaxed your guests will be. 4. Keep your event short and sweet! Yes, your guests will be too excited if you can share what you have to help them in less than 2 hours AND provide them with some sweet treats. This can range from cookies, cupcakes, cake, etc. and you can purchase it from an area bakery to support another business. 5. Last but not least, have another event date ready so that your guests can share it with others. These are a few simple suggestions.
